What would people (uk) recommed for a uv 405 nm laser for joining resin parts?
Or torch?

Up until now I've run my printers in a light-controlled tent inside my relatively dark garage. For those who operate their printers in less light-controlled environments, like brightly lit houses with lots of windows-- does the UV resin have issues with the indirect sunlight inside your house?

I ask because I'm contemplating moving my printers to what is currently a brightly lit warehouse with diffused (translucent) skylight panels. I'm not sure what the actual UV is like inside the facility, or if it's enough to pose a problem for the resin. If I don't have to move my enclosure, I'd prefer not to.

Thanks.

So O opted against the paint bucket and I an printing out a resin curing box. The inside will be lined with mirror paper. Then led uv lights strung inside and then finally a solar powered turn table.

5 more hours to go in the 23hr print haha. Printed in wood PLA going to sand it and stain it.

Safety Question: The UV lights that we use to cure the resin... while it's obvious you don't want to stare at it, should I be wearing sunglasses?

Is the Original Photon LCD directly compatible with the Photon S?

Asking as I got a Photon S which I could not make to print with a sharp details as my modified Photon does(Photon with added uv matrix from the S).
The printers have literally identical components, the difference is only the mother board, and one of the steps in tuning my Photon S was to add the the LCD from the original Photon which has thinner protective glass(0.7mm instead of 1.2mm).

When I installed the LCD everything seems to work well and printing fine, but don't have other idea what could be wrong, so could the LCD not be properly compatible at sub pixel level?

Hey, has anyone experienced zero exposure (dunno if the UV stays off or the display) upon starting a new print right after one has finished (a powercycle helps!)? FW-bug? Hi all, I am sorry to keep posting on the same topic but I am at a loss. I have had my photon for 15 months. No issues. I have printed literally hundreds of minis (300+) never had any real issues. However I "paused" a print and the machine kept going. I stopped the print. Cleaned up the mess, tried again. Fans wouldn't start (even after powering off etc). I was told to flash the firmware with the latest version. I am using the standard photon with no upgrades. So I went to the 4.2.19 version. Fan started working again but now my prints will not work at all. I get phantom printing on the sides of the print. I made sure via the normal tests that the UV light is working, I leveled the bed (a few times), set the zero height (a few times) and I still get arbitrary printing in areas that are outside my models print area, as well as attached to it. non of the extra printing is on the preview. I made sure my glass under the vat is clean with no debris, I have changed and tuned my FEP. I still get the same problem

To add to my woes, I decided to try out the new Photon Workshop V2. Noticed that when trying to add supports it does a really bad job of calculating supports automatically, and it does not show like the standard slicer where supports are needed. Have a look at the pic, how is this rook stress test going to print with this few supports. I have totally lost my confidence now which is causing me to second guess everything. Any help without bashing would be appreciated. I know I am trying to solve too many problems at one time but I am at a total loss. Also, if someone could attach the original test file (the cube on the stand) that would be appreciated. Somehow I lost it.
