Anycubic Photon Printer Owners 造訪社團 » Volt

Hey all, curious problem with my good friend’s Photon - it is not moving the correct amount during Z travel - including jogging. It moves approximately 0.9mm for every 1mm move - verified with digital micrometer after a lot of fussing with settings, wasted resin, time etc.

Eliminated mechanical issues as the cause, everything feels smooth.

Possible reference voltage too low?
(missing steps at a certain point in the rotation?)

Faulty stepper driver (ie, motherboard)?

Ok I need some help guys. I think my printer bit the dust tonight. I loaded an STL file into my printer. The build plate zeroed out at home and then everything went dead. The screen went black. I tried turning it off and in, unplugging it and then plugging it back in. I checked the power cable with a multi meter and it said that I had about 4.75 volts at the printer. But the machine is dead. Are there any fuses I can check inside the printer? Any help would be appreciated.

So a few days ago i asked you guys on how much volt the fan in the photon runs. This is the reason why :-)

Is it recommended to set the VRef of the driver of the Photon?

Does anyone know, how much volt the little fan on the inside of the photon gets. Is it 5V or 12V ?

Does any one own a occipital structure sensor 3d scanner and can tell me the voltage input on the plug please?

Tried a print with the usb voltmeter in. It did 1 layer before killing usb number 5. I’ve seen the volts hit 5.6, assuming that’s bad. Skip closer to the end to see it die. Also apologies for the awful camera action ?‍♂️

Already submitted a support ticket but Chinese New Year means I have to wait. What’s more annoying is this was bought early December for Christmas but not setup until this week due to moving house. Anycubic have some pretty poor times for flat replacements

There’s a point on the video the blinks light in the led stops. Sadly I stopped recording moments later and then I got this error message

Printed this resin torture test yesterday. Looks like it’s peeled off a bit from the build plate? Using anycubic grey.

Also the photon file validate appears to have forever on loading file. I’ve opened 1 file successfully

Any help much appreciated (still waiting on my usb voltmeter so won’t be printing until I’ve confirmed my printer isn’t borked)

As Jennifer is quite sensitive to chemical odors, we’re working on a vent system and upgraded fan, to exhaust the resin fumes to outdoors.

What’s the voltage of the 80mm screen fan? Is it 12v?

Hi folks, can I ask a favour please? I've mixed up my original Photon power brick with a bunch of others that look quite similar but have different amp outputs (for LED studio lights). Could someone please post a pic of the power brick from original photon, showing the input-output voltage/amps please? The back of the photon itself doesn't seem to say anything other than 240/120V at.

The one I *think* is the anycubic one is showing 12v 6A output. Does that look ok? I also have a 12v 4A one. Both are unbranded and bot fit the photon power port.

Thanks in advance!
