I will be receiving my first two photons next week. I have a number of years building, tinkering, and printing with FDM printers.
What can I expect to be different, what habits do you find were helpful, which were better forgotten?

Any links to a beginners guide.

Hey guys. Having a lot of failed prints lately. Not sure what im doing wrong. I'm still getting used to the photon s apparently. I put 6 models in the slicer. all of them leaning back. so the supports would hit there. floating off build plate so that the supports do the heavy lifting. using Anycubic Grey resin.

Settings:
.02 layer height.
8 bottom layers
exposure time 14
bottom exposure 90
light offs 1s.

With this print. the 3 models on the back side of the build plate are still there. the front 3 are gone. not sure if this is a leveling issue or what. i thought the leveling was really only side to side and the back to front was basically handled when mounting the plate.

should i stop this print with 4 hours still to go and just scrap the ones on the back? if there was issue enough for 3 to not work - i assume the back ones are even going to come out correctly.

I having a lot harder time with getting consistent good results with the photon over any FDM printer ive had.

Whats is wrong?
I printed the test file from my new Photon, and it printed awesome. Tried 3 more prints, and NOTHING. not a fleck of anything attached to the bed, nothing. No mung in the vat, nothing on the print bed. Just drippy resin off the plate.
You can't see what printing like on an FDM, so hours wasted.

This printer is unavoidable, the quality compared to the price is superb! Never with my FDM printer it would be possible to have a resolution like this little beast! here are my first two impressions ? ? ?

How well does the Anycubic resin handle heat? I'm wanting to make a new fan shroud for my FDM printer. Or should I just print one on the FDM?

Hey all I own 2 fdm 3d printers and am wanting to go into the resin 3d printing my question is when printing with resin if the build plate is full of prints does it take the same time as one small print if the hight is the same

Hey guys... me again xD... so.. my Photon is going to pull all nighters quite often.

I am accostumed to my Moai being dead silent and although i have two more FDM printers (and one of them has an "old" e3d v6 and we all know how that small fan sounds like a jet engine ready to go) i would like for the Led Fan from the photon to be more silent.

My question is..... has anyone upgraded to a more silent fan (with at least the same amount of flow)? Its a 60x60mm fan.. right?
