I'm sure someone has probably already posted this - but just in case.

Weigh your vat full of resin and deduct 645g and you'll know how much resin you have.

Might be handy to figure out if you have enough resin to finish a print job. I'd add 10% to be safe.

Round funnels didn't fit well under this vat bracket, so I made a square one!

How realistic are my expectations? This Dwarf is printed at .0.2mm layer height. Can I print at 0.01mm?

Also, would changing the exposure change the detail much? The face looks amazing in Chitubox. Overall the figure is 48mm tall. Resin is Elegoo grey.

Am I just printing him too small?

I didn't start off with a flesh tone in mind, so I probably have too much purple in here. But adding some yellow and orange got pretty close. If only I had some green!

This is Elegoo white resin with about 10 drops of this ink in a vat that's 1/3 full. I'm just going to keep adding ink until I get a print failure!

Just for fun I put a drop of alcohol-based ink on one side of my vat when I started this print. The resin is Elegoo white.

The color slowly migrated to fill the whole vat by the end of the print. Next time I'll try a drop of two different colors on each end of the vat and see how they mix.

What setting in Chitubox or the Photon software would cause a print to come out as a mirror image? Everything looked fine when I sliced my model. All previous prints have been fine, it happened for the first time yesterday.

I am printing these to paint black and and add gold Rub n' Buff. It was just a coincidence that I had transparent orange resin in my printer.

Then it dawned on me that these would be GREAT for Halloween if I put these on a string of lights!

Working on the Cat's Paw dagger from Game of Thrones. I found some Siraya tech orange resin to print the gemstones. I hope they will polish up nicely. Dagger printed on my Ender 3.

Has anyone here polished the Siraya resin?

OK, I believe I solved my leveling issues by using a scrap piece of FEP instead of paper to set the Z=0 point.

I measured the paper with my micrometer and found it to be 0.08mm and the FEP I have is 0.2mm. That's a huge difference and I believe the build plate was set too low, and would press against the bottom of the vat and slightly move it - no matter how much I tightened the screws.

Now I can make repeat prints without re-leveling!

I'm curious to see if other members of the group can measure their leveling paper and if any have tried leveling with a piece of FEP instead.
