So after printing parts at 45 degree angles and getting some distortion and grain patterns in the texture, I decided to print straight. And, I didn’t use a raft.
The no-raft part was a win and parts are much more flat and defect free on the bottom.
But, halfway through the print it all split and the rest ended up on the FEP. I can’t think of how this could happen but I want to try again and have it succeed. Any ideas?
It is Anycubic Gray with 12 second exposure and 50u. Bottom layer was 60 seconds for 8 and was very secure - almost hard to get off.
Printer temp was 83F.
