Hi, a question. Preparing my Photon for the very first print. The protective glass inside is covered by Polyethilene foil. Shall I remove it, or would it not harm to stay on to add even more UV filtering from outside?

Sorry to create so many posts, but one more question... Picking the alcohol for cleaning. I just was at a local pharmacy, they can supply 70% Isopropyl alcohol only. Should I get it, search for 90+% isopropyl, or get some 98% ethanol denaturate from construction store? I plan to use anycubic eco resin

While my Photon is still in the post, I am looking for resin. I now stumbled upon Anycubic Eco Resin, which claims it is not a health hazard and has no smell. If it is the case, I would return the ELEGOO Resin back to amazon, and get the Eco one, as it would allow me to use the photon in my home and only clean outside, and not operating the stuff in the garage with all related cold problems, heating, etc. Does anyone have experience in ecological, smell-free resins?

So, just a few minutes ago I ordered an Anycubic photon from Gearbest, using the big sale there. I also ordered 1kg of ELEGOO grey resin, plus W1209 thermostat and a 120W 12V heating pad to allow installation in the garage or on the balcony even in winter.

Any other things to get to start printing?

Hi, I am considering to get an Anycubic Photon or Photon S in the next few days, and got a question. My workshop room is quite poorly ventilated, and is door-to-door with the kid's room, so I would like to avoid placing the printer there. I consider to place it into the garage, where I have some space. In winter, I have about 12'C there, in summer around 25-30'C, according to my car's built in termometer. It might get colder for some short time, if I open garage to get my car out, or also warmer in summer. Is such a range ok for the Photon? This way both resin fumes and the cleaning smell can be kept out completely from the living area...
