Hello all... I read the FAQ and the pinned post, but I don't see my issue addressed and hoped maybe it was something simple.

When using the paper method for leveling the axis doesn't drop enough (there's still wabble room and the paper isn't getting proper friction)

It won't lower any further, any thoughts?

Does anyone have an issue where their printer freezes a few layers into the print and goes blank? Having to reset the machine by the power button? When I turn it off and restart it I have to start the print from scratch and it works just fine after. Happened 4 times now

Looking for a little help. I've had my Photon for going on 6 months now without much issue (one broken screen which I replaced). A few weeks ago my z screw began making a squeaking noise as the build plate lowered, and I started to see some issues with my prints. The first few images are of the bottom jaw of a dragon I am printing. If you look at the supported file/screenshot, that's what the connection is meant to look like. The images of the clear blue resin are of how that connection piece printed. Very heavy buildup of resin which I did not see in the slice file at all.

I figured it was a result of the z screw not being well lubricated, so I coated it with some white lithium grease, which stopped the squeaking. It still seems that the printer is having some trouble in the first few hundred layers however. I tried printing some open forge tiles, which came out great on 3 of 4 sides, but the side closest to the build plate came out quite warped on all 6 tiles. The print was quite securely adhered to the build plate, so I can't imagine it was a suction issue, and the tiles do seem quite well supported.

My slicer settings are:

Base layers: 8

Base exposure: 80 sec

Layer exposure : 12 sec (.05) and 10 sec (.02)

The jaw was printed at .02 and the tiles were .05

Any thoughts?
