Hi All

Can I ask anyone who owns a New Photon, with software version 3.4.1 , if at the end of a print , the platform travels at the way to the top and push the whole Z rail back a few mms,, i.e it tries to go past the end.?

Hi All

I've been making some test prints in EasyCast and printed our Dragon Head 4 Times (first a Single print then 3 at the same time) and the single print and 2 of the triple print failed its the exact same fault.

in the Photo you can see on the top and bottom dragon the horns are missing , the rest printed fine.

Do faults like this point to a faulty mesh?

Well at first I thought my first print was a complete and total disaster. There was resin splashed on the glass inside the machine but it doesn't seem as if it got anywhere else. I did not overfill the tank -- the level was well below the line in the tank. Anyway, now I realize that it's only like, 99% a disaster. I printed this, but I have no idea how to read it. Also, is it supposed to be thinner towards the front?
Things I did before I did this print:
Grabbed the .photon file from thingverse. It's for the PHoton S and I have just a Photon, but with the Photon S MB
I did level the print bed after watching several different videos.

The printer is sitting on a stable, level surface.
So what gives here?

I wish to change the number of base layers that I have programmed onto my Photon part. Is there any way that I can change that after I have sliced it and saved the project as a Photon file?

my printer has stopped going up and down during a print maybe 2/4 of the last prints i've done. it's exposing fine, the bed just isn't moving.

does anyone have any ideas what might cause this? perhaps a faulty usb connection? i ran the same gcode twice and it had the issue the first time and not the second, so i'm inclined to say it's not the fault of the code.

I know this is unfinished but I really wanted to share how well it is going. Daphne never looked sexier than this. I am trying an idea I read on here about using clear resin to fill in the connection cracks and so far looks good and will do a post about my findings on that another time.
