Should I just print these separately because it is insane? (the hands and head are solid; the body is hollow with big drain holes at the bottom of feet and small holes above the vents at the top; 0.05 layer, 6s exposure, 8s bottom, 80s base, on a Photon S). It's about 170% of a standard mini size. Supports are manual using 3D Printing Pro's settings, though the ones inside the hollow body were auto. Please yell at me

Hello everyone! Was gifted a rarely used Photon this week and i can't wait to start printing stuff. First off, how do i know if my photon is the "photon upgraded only" model? I was wondering the need to update the firmware.

It says Photon 5.5; version 4.2.3_blahblah.... on the info screen.

So I see this happing more and more lately, so when helping a new user with resin settings please keep in mind to check if they have the Photon or Photon S.

Because I keep seeing people telling people there settings they use (clearly photon settings) when the user as a Photon S. Exp times are much lower than the Photon eg grey on photon is more 80 bottom and 11 normal, on the S it’s more 30 bottom and 6 normal.

So the advise is normal only going burn the LED out faster then it should but you going give very overexposed prints or by ramping up the bottom time you might be getting a print to stick for them but the high bottom time is hiding the fact they have another problem like the FEP needs to have more tension or the level is not fully right.

So please don’t just drop photon exp times or the photon google doc to people needing help with a Photon S.

Hey friends!

I got a Photon S last week and I've tried to print three things and none of them have seated to the bed. Could you share tutorials, settings, what resins, etc to use? I tried releveling my bed but honestly, I am lost at the moment.

My first successful print is going strong! I'm printing Nikko Industries' infinity coin. Thanks for the great spreadsheet on cure times. First 2 prints didn't work, but after reviewing that spreadsheet, it's working! SOOOOO excited.
