Quick question..Why does a Photon mess up prints when you change Resin,I went from one bottle of Grey to another(same brand) and all i've had is failed prints.The main issue is prints not sticking to the build plate.

Things i've done are as follows

Shook the resin

Cleaned and leveled Build plate(paper and Reed method)..Multiple times

Cleaned Vat

Upped Exposure times

Lowered exposure times

Bought a new build plate(same results)

Swore a lot

threatened the machine with violence

Tried a black resin

I've had some parts stuck to the vat,then had parts that stay on the build plate but were warped.

I have noticed that when i level with paper that i have less tension on one side(yes i've loosened the grub screw and flattened the build plate)

I've had a month of real good printing,so i'm getting pissed off now,any help would be cool

Just finished this itachi print a few weeks ago and was wondering if anybody could give me some recommendations for better paints or painting techniques. I’m quite new to this and this was my first print.

I've noticed something odd in my prints recently, the surface furthest away from the print bed (the one on the bottom when it's hanging upside down from the print bed) has amazing, razor sharp details but the surface nearest to the print bed has very soft details this is especially truemof any large, flat surfaces. I've only been printing for a month or two and am literally using just the slicer that came with the photon with the defiault settings it installed with...

Do you know the difference between these Elegoo white resins? The third is water washable ok, but what is the difference between the first two?

Does anybody have a substitute (or source) for the OG Anycubic translucent yellow resin? It used to be widely available in the US but now all I can find is the plant-based one which is not translucent. I use a fair bit of this resin and need to find an affordable source, or a reasonable alternative that looks and behaves similarly.

This is just a straight, sliced ".photon" file print, right? There's no PrintTest.gcode involved, right?

So I did some resin color mixing experiments to make a purple and thought maybe some people here would be interested in the results!

Picture from right to left:
-transparent blue and transparent red elegoo resin mixed evenly together. This somehow turned clear and glows in the dark?? Lol

-The red and blue resin mix with medusa coliro pearlescent pigment. It didnt want to mix and just stayed in chunks inside the resin.

-I added purple citadel contrast colors acrylic paint to the mixture, again it didnt mix well and you could see lots of chunks in the resin.

-I added white anycubic resin here to make it more opaque, still very chunky but still printed well.

-in then next photo, this was printed with the resin mixture after it was left in the vat overnight. It seems to have all dissolved and mixed together in that time and made a very nice consistant and opaque smokey purple with no chunks! :)

There ends my experiments from last night haha.

-我在這裡新增了白色anycubic樹脂, 讓它變得更加不透明, 仍然很胖, 但仍然很好.

-在接下來的照片中, 這張照片是與樹脂混合物一起印刷的. 當時似乎都溶解, 混合在一起, 做了一個非常好的體貼和不透明的紫色, 沒有塊! :)

昨晚的實驗結束了哈哈.

What is the best screw to replace the existing one on the print tray? Mine are getting early stages of being stripped.
