OK, I searched this group and did my research but I still am not 100% sure about this. If imprinting Chibi miniatures is a .05 layer hieight ok? I have been printing them at .02 and they come out nice but the print time is like 10h. if I drop it to .05 it goes down to like 5h and I really can't see any detail loss. Now granted I have not primed them yet and that may make the choice for me. Just trying to get a little more info before I make my final decision.

Brand new Photon. Leveled the printer, leveled the build plate, did the paper gap test. First test cube it seems to have adhered to the FEP. Second attempt it started off fine but eventually fell off the build plate. This is using Anycubic grey with the default settings. Only thing that might not be optimal is the temp where the printer is located in the basement. Maybe exposure time isn't right for the resin?

what causes this distortion see it as a line at bottom of the town and side with checker board is missing a line the other piece i know have a lot of supports yo clean still but the side faceing the bed always looks like it is melted. but rest of the print is dimensionally accurate

Really enjoying working with the Anycubic Photon S printer... this is a prototype of a pendant that will have a 18x18mm cabochon once the gallery bezel wire is soldered. Love the detail thus far... .

TL;DR models cracking.

Ok wtf,

I have been using Monocure 3d rapid grey, after alot of tweaking found some good settings. I then bought some Monocure 3d 100 Flex resin. I mixed the 2 at a 75/25 ratio respectively.

I printed Baalzarodan by Artisans Guild, pieces were coming out perfectly, details are amazing, has an almost ABS feel, removed all supports under warm water and next to no marks. The models are also being hollowed with 2.5mm walls, atleast 3 drain holes top and bottom.

I have gone away for the weekend, came home to find the models cracked to pieces along the layer lines.

Any advice, ideas? I am proper disheartened now, as printing at 100% scale, I have dropped about 30 hrs so far.

My photon was working fine. Then I moved it to a different location and it hasn't worked since. All I get is a small amount of the design on the FEP, nothing on the build plate. The UV lamp looks realty dim but it is on. But barely visible. Anyone have any ideas? Or seen this before? It's odd that the UV lamp is on but dim as opposed to off as it can't be a bad connection.
