Having some issues with wavvy lengths, if thats the word.

Doesn't happen on all my prints, but i suspect its related to the angle. this was 20 deg, others have been 30-46. Was trying to save some time :(

N scale in size if that matters. Med supports used only on the spine. they were at the cross support locations.

Im wondering if placing a support on the "low spots" would help or just raise the angle to 46 and not worry about it. its easy to sand down, but would like to save some working time during print and post cleanup.

I'm having problems printing anything flat on the buld plate. I seem to loose a lot of height and the print layers seem to be leaning over in one direction. I havent got a comera good enough to be able to zoom in and take a photo. I'm building a thin frame for a small scale model. the drawing height is 2.2mm and about .5-.8 thick on the frame wich is about 85mm long. I'm using any cubic translucent green with .05mm layer height once I've worked out the bugs of this print I will print again at .02. Is this a case of Z axis wobble it doesn't seem to happen when things are up higher on supports. The attachment shows what I'm trying to print

Hi there, i just did the "photon s resin exposure finder" with anycubic black, what do you think is the best? In my opinion they all look shity :(

What for settings domyou recommend for anycubic black? I took the settings from the google list for photon s, but iam not sure if i should try 7 seconds normal exposure time.

hey im thinking about getting a used photon..

i saw there are a tons of modifications...

can somebody give me list of what can be done?

i know about

-filter

-auto refill

-double z axis or twin rail

what else useful upgrades are out there ?

are there already upgrades for the photon S? looks to me like the S version has fixed all the stuff ppl are upgrading on the first model.?

I'm working on building supports on a display figure, and something has changed overnight. Using Chitubox, I usually use itty bitty tiny light supports, and now this morning my light supports have changed to something that looks more like a medium.

In the picture - the red highlighted support is what these new supports look like, it is crossing several of the tiny threads I usually use. Does anyone know what could have caused this? I've checked my contact diameter/shape, and changed both back to 0.12, but this is clearly not what I'm asking it to do.

Meshmixer Gurus, I’m trying to put a 2mm wide, 1mm deep hole in this wrist attachment for a magnet. Also a corresponding one on the sword, just a cool little weapon swap idea. I know about plane cuts etc but this has got me stumped, any ideas?

So, I was placing supports, getting files ready - usual stuff, and then this happened. Models are gone, and buildplate as well.
Rotating and clicking on the viewcube was of no help, as well as restarting Chitubox, computer, re-opening files and updating Chitubox.
Any ideas on how to fix this?

whoa baby. I have not printed on my Photon in about four months. Cleaned it all up, printed out a Star Wars X34 and it turned out great, but what I didn't remember was the smell. Holy cow! I love the smell of resin..it is like roses.
