With some of the objects I print, the supports seem to clump together and form stratified columns which are quite dificult to remove. I often make use of the auto support feature in Chitubox. Does this mean that there are too many supports in one area?

Maybe someone can identify this problem.

A friend photonster has this problem. Print starts at 1% but the printer do nothing than a beep.

-same thing with Anycubic Slicer and Chitubox

-pendrive formated and working

-bed leveled

-usable resin not expired.

I am not near to the printer for about 300 Kilometers. i will join with the owner tomorrow.

Any thoughs?

So I have been selling 3D printing services for about a year now and would like some input from other people and their opinions. So I’m thinking about adding an option for addition coast (5-10$) I’ll have to work with the price to see how it goes but it would be for a time-lapse of their print. Do you think people would go for it? Do you offer any similar services and if so if it working out?

Edit 1: I have had a few customers ask to see a video of their item printing. But it’s normally the FDM prints that’s they want to see. I also have a old GoPro hero 7 black. Just collecting dust right now so I wouldn’t be buying because it offers a time-lapse mode.

for those of you who didn’t see my last post....

I’m having issues with my anycubic photon s freezing mid print. I’ve changed drives, updates the programs I use and the machine’s programs, I’ve tried changing the name to something short, sliced in photon slicer and chitubox, reslicing. Nothing helps and there’s no rhyme or reason to when it freezes. But I’ve wasted the better part of a bottle of resin on failed prints.

Any more ideas?

How do you handle tolerances? like when small or delicate parts go into one another, do u have to account for that in the slicing...or? I'm printing mechanical parts for a prop and none of the parts fit where they are supposed to.

Over a couple months use I've ended up with residue on the LCD. I assume its accumulated spots of cured resin. ?‍♂️ Any tips on cleaning it? Or does this dictate replacing the LCD?

Hey folks. I need to get a new pair of ‘side nippers’ to cut supports from prints. They need to be small and have a precise cutting surface that is clean on one side.

Heya!

Perfect prints for a few months, but then everything went wrong.

Had the same issue last week (see pics), cleaning, leveling, changing FEP film fixed the issue. But today it started again: my entire miniature changes into one big rectangle. Both pics were stopped mid print, as it obviously failed. What goes wrong?

Second picture is the intended print, which is my second test of today. Third picture is the first fail of today, I wanted to print a bigger miniature.

Hey guys I was wondering what you guys use to split up a print. I have a house I want to print but It's too big to print as one and is hollow inside. Is there a way to break it up into pieces? Here is the picture for example. Also want to split it because I wish to make it bigger.
