Test print done perfect first try, flawless (mind blown). Second print total fail didn't stick to the bed past the first 10 layers or so. It should have been a lithophane at about a 30 degree angle 5mm off the plate with heavy supports on the bottom edge. I just left the print setting in chitubox defaulted for my first slice ever on this kind of printer. Guessing that was the problem, going to adjust those and try again. Other thoughts?

Update: it was just under exposing and not enough base layers, try 2 was perfect and coming from FDMp printing mind is blown.

This has borked file all over it, hollowed and holes in meshmixer, supports in Chitubox. Tried various saves. Any good tutorials out there on troubleshooting the hollowing/hole making process? 3/3 tries have been bad file results.

Hey all, new member and new to resin printers. Been doing a lot of youtube and everything between. One thing truly stands out to me, coming from FDM printing how often do I need to level the work plate for the photon? And after how many prints should I be swooping out my resin? 2 questions about the latest version of photon workshop?

Did the print xy area change slightly? i ask because I had a file that I save from months ago from before upgrading that fit in the print area that is slightly outside of it today. I can't make heads or tails of that.

I know Single Layer settings were a feature of the new software but I can't find anything on them with googling because the keyword combo is not unique enough...can someone please (thanks in advance) point me to a good resource on them?

Does the photon/fauxton have a super limited ram? Going through prints I get to a point where prints dont show up on screen and wont load to start. Should I limit files on the usb?

Whoever gave me the info about popping things into meshmixer for supports before putting into slicing software, you are a god among men.

also, if you haven't been doing this, I'd implore you to try it. Night and day difference if you hate supports.
