Hi I'm new to the sla printer and I am using chitubox. I was curious where I can find a list for the settings on all the supports that one would use to print detailed miniatures.

Chitubox has all of a sudden stopped working?
Running the latest version, adding autosupports in prusa then exporting to chitu and this has been working fine for the past week no problems, but all of a sudden everything I open in chitu causes it to crash? I have uninstalled, reinstalled and I have trimmed my memory down?
I have also tried to reopen stl it sliced fine before and still crashes?
Why's it's playing up all if a sudden?

So I hollowed my first model today. Everything seems to be okay in Chutubox (v1.6.1). When I save it as STL and slice it in the Anycubic Photon slicer I notice some of the layers have these weird big planes inside of the model. These planes are not visible in Chitubox. See pictures.

Anyone knows how to get rid of these?

Is it possible to overload the print plate with too many objects and create too much pull on the fep?

I'm printing multiple minis for the first time and I'm hearing a lot if popping even though I'm a few hundreds layers in.

Hey All,

Something in a previous comment thread triggered me to finally write-up an issue I've been giving a lot of thought to over the past 18 months of resin printing. At the moment I've done it as the shittiest infographic slide show imaginable, but I think I'm getting across one aspect of 'overexposure' that doesn't get touched on too much, the ugly underbelly of resin prints (literally).

It's also hopefully a bit of an explanation of why most print-in-place mechanisms fail on the Photon, since the excess cure can easily bridge in small gaps.

This is meant to be a discussion piece, some of my thoughts on resin physics/chemistry, and a bit of a demistification. Happy to take comments, but please keep it evidence-based.... ;)

EDIT: The white background was killing me, so I had to at-least fix that. I've also expanded the last couple slides with a shade more detail. Enjoy!
