Can anyone help with Chitubox and timings?
I have an original Photon on .18 firmware. If I use the photon slicer everything works fine, what I’m trying to print is just over 3 hours long. If I use Chitubox it comes out at about 24 minutes. My googling says that it’s because the Light Off and Bottom Light Off are set to 0 so it screws up the print time, however that makes no difference because the photon still defaults to 6.5 seconds. Well that’s wrong because when I try and print it, the printer finishes 24 minutes later with the start of the supports printed and nothing else.

Someone else mentioned just putting a 1 in those boxes but I have a feeling the same issue will occur. Any ideas before I just try printing with 6.5 in those boxes?

So I just got another printer for christmas...What is thyis new file type PWS?

I can no longer slice using chitubox and the "photon Workshop" that anycubic supplies doesnt auto support at all for any of my prints. Also the supports no longer connect to one another.

Anyone find any workarounds?

Hey up people just a quick ask, as I'm getting weird splits on a certain part. Is hollowed etc, now I want to see if it is actually missing something. I'm using heavy supports too. So where can I get a validator. I've looked for the photon file validation but not finding any. It also started falling off the bed. This is the third one with exactly the same part splitting on me. No issues with other pieces of the project.

My build plate fell last night ? . I’ve ordered a new one but it won’t arrive until the end of the month. I don’t mind if I lose the corner as the models I print are small. Is it possible to sand this down? What are your suggestions? What would I need to do this myself? A specific kind of metal file?

Honestly love this printer. Fixing up the gaps with some apoxie sculpt and will prime and paint. Need to fix the file itself. Some parts are much too thin before I will post to thingiverse want to be able to make it printable via fdm as well.

After seeing a post similar to this one last night I assumed my issue was FEP was not tight enough. Any ideas as to what my issue might be with this print? I am completely new to sla printers so any help would be greatly appreciated. I attempted this print yesterday as well with nearly the same results, but did not get any pics of it. This is the default program this is on usb shipped with the printer, but I moved it to my own flash drive formatted fat32, the printer sees the file fine.

As a side note, this is one of the new Fauxtons, running firmware V 3.4.1
