Hey Photon users, just a quick question about breather/drainage ports for cylindrical parts. I have an egg shaped item I want to print but I understand the parts shape will case suction issues against the PEI sheet. I can put some breather holes/ports in the part but was wondering:
What is the best orientation, along the x or y at the first available point on the internal void or just along the z wherever I can fit it?;
Is 2mm big enough or should I go larger or have multiple ports?

I'm having two issues with my Heroforge prints that I was hoping the collective might be able to help me out with....

1. The bases keep coming out with little to none of the bevel so that where the writing goes is nearly flat to the table as opposed to having the proper edge around the base. You can see it in the attached mini image where the edges are arched and should be straight across.

2. The level of detail I'm getting out of the Anycubic ECO Resin (Gray) isn't up to par with what I'm seeing from various demonstrations of these resins and I'm wondering if anyone has any known good settings for these resins that haven't made it into the community sheet yet or have any advice on dialing settings in and/or other issues that could be causing the disappointing level of detail.

Some support missing and the Print subject that attach to support has rough surface. (The rest layer is fine and smooth). I got all bottom layer stick to the build platform, but some support cannot form up.

I have a photon that was given to me. I use my fdm printer to make functional things like machine parts, gears, couplers etc. Can I use the photon to make similar items. I am not really into figurines etc.

Ok I tried to do my next print, it wouldn't print anything, cleaned leveled redo nothing, I checked the light under resin vat, did the detect the only one that would show up is all of it. Did think that was right turned printed off for 5 minutes turned back on ,did light detection on the three it all worked hope it will print now, anyone else have this problem???
