Ive been getting frame shearing in my last few prints never had it before. Software version is 4.2.1, havent updated but thinking of going to 4.2.18 anyway. Is shearing a known issue with 4.2.1 or could it be something else. I just replaced my screen also but all screen tests come up normal.

Has anybody used contact to protect their screen? Like the stuff you put on books. Just replaced my screen after a catastrophic leak and want to take measures to prevent it. Would taping the edges be a better bet?

Hi, happy new year to everyone. I searching for answers for my problem with my photon. I got the normal with yellow windows. My prints stops after round about 20%, the screen shows the normal menu and the build plate rest in the VAT in its last position ? . Also the UV lamp is shaking when i start a print, but when i made the screen test its glow constant. I try different files and different USB sticks but the problem still exist.
Anyone had an idea what is the problem or got the same situation? I don't know what i should try. My prints before were awesome. I dont know where the problem is now.

Hello all and wish you a happy new year. Using fdm printers I set a 50 to 60 degres of angle for my supports. Here it seems to be 30 that is really small. Did someone try to increase this angle valye and what the best for it according to you?

Photon S - LCD life time/power output

My printer prints about 8 hours everyday. I can not find a definite source for the life of the photon LCD life. I want to preemptively change the LCD before it reaches below maybe 80% of original output. I am afraid my LCD will be weakened from long term use and produce insufficient cured parts to my customers.

Based on your experience, when do you change your LCD? Does it work great and just suddenly break, or maybe it slowly degrades?
