Dear Photoners,

Tell me, what should I do with updating my photon’s firmware.

I have basic Photon and I wanted to update it’s firmware. Yet, the anycubic site is giving me a choice between v5.0.2 and v4.2.19.
What to do? And what does it mean: „Photon upgraded only” - it’s for S?

My Current firmware is: 4.2.1

Second issue: ChituBox is still the best?
What about the Photon Workshop? Anyone is using this?

Hello, thank you for the add. I got a Photon for Christmas and did my first test print yesterday. As you can see, half of the cube looks uneven and the banner that should read “Photon” looks shredded. Any ideas on what happened?

Might be dumb question. Anyone replace the UV sides on their printer? Did you just buy UV blocking acrylic sheets or acrylic sheet and put UV blocking film? Plan on making some holes on the sides for a some little heaters. Can you buy the panels pre-cut already?

Have a little issue but it is only with Elegoo Black. I don't get this line with my Transparent Red or White. Yes I know my supports are over kill but I have been try to prevent this shift. FEP rings 305. Flint Reid leveled. All screws are tight. Temp inside is 26c. Bottom layers is 6@100 sec. This one the layers were at 8 previous ones were 12 & 14 which the line was way more pronounced. Any ideas where I should go next?

Any ideas what's causing this? Some prints come out fine, some batches crack really had post cure. I use metho in an ultrasonic for 180 seconds, blow off with a compressor then sun cure. Not an exact science to the last part while my UV lamp arrives but I've left this exact print out for an age and have had no problems prior. Thoughts?

Hi guys, I've printed a super hero Bust for a friend.He had the model send it, i just hollowed it and printed.
I made lots of classic Errors here on this print.
Its my 3rd print
1. I Hollowed but made no escape holes thinking that it would drain out and only trapping a little bit in the head, wrong :-) it trapped resin everywhere.
2. Printed directly from the base, no supports no inclination
