My biggest print so far and my fave. Elagoo grey. Printed the exposure test and the Google doc was pretty much spot on. Nearly 10 hours at 0.05.
Almost ran out of resin at one point but poured some extra in as it was running. Seemed to workout ok but I guess I maybe should have paused it first.

As I’m a noob (although do understand 3d printing principles having had an FDM printer for nearly a year), I thought I’d post my set up having been through a quick learning curve with my first SLA model last night.

My main mistake was to use the basic settings in Anycubic Workshop because the ‘skate’ settings on the support bases caused the base to detach from the build plate. Changing it to ‘cylinders’ sorted it all out so I could even use standard demo model settings with Anycubic Black (0.04mm, 5 base layers, 50/8 second exposures).

The 2 isopropyl jars did the cleaning as per the videos I watched on YouTube (thanks to all who have posted advise!). I just swooshed the model about for a few seconds in each.

The bowl had hot water in it (a second or two swoosh is all you need, any more and the resin will soften/warp).

Then finally my home brew curing box (the lesson there is to not buy the waterproof real of LEDs because the gel coating can diffuse the light and yellow over time) before slapping some paint on to see the quality for realz ?

Did 2 Bulldogs print at one go.
Not sure what happened but the good print has part of his foot missing - lack of support?
The other print split into 2 when I remove supports. Poor layer adhesion?

Got my 2 first fails today. K2s0 is missing a head and has a plate going through his body, mandalorian is missing his arms. I think I had 5 base layers and all light supports. 10 minis on the plate,.the other 8 seem to have come out fine

When everyone's airbrushing your prints, is there anything you do to seal the paint? Or prep work? Asking because I sanded a print down, airbrushed it black then left it for a day, picked up the print and now I have black all over my hands?

So I see some people ask but no actual answers. Is elegoo abs-like gray no longer for sale? I can only find standard gray on Amazon anymore.

Hey all! I could use some help diagnosing why I'm seeing what I'm currently calling "ghost supports" on my prints. Here's the usual info:

Anycubic Photon S: Zbrush *.stl -> Chitubox (for supports) *.stl -> Photon Workshop (for Slicing and settings, and to produce a *.pws, which is the only file type my Photon S is currently recognizing. My settings are attached.I'm using Elegoo Grey Resin, but I don't suspect this is a resin issue.

Even in my sliced files, I was noticing some strange spots that look almost like artifacting in either white or black that appear to continue up through the slices of the model, which aren't present in the support preview, but do appear to be showing up on my prints. I can see them in slicing previews from either Chitubox or Photon Workshop, and I think they may be what's showing up as extra columns of support-like structures throughout my prints (circled in red). Once they touch the main figure, they appear to stop. (ie: the LED doesn't have pixels that are simply stuck in an "on" setting)

Any help on diagnosing what they are and how to get rid of them would be very much appreciated, thanks!
