Hi everyone! I just ordered a bottle of Elegoo grey and the date on the side shows october of this year. I have a bottle of Anycubic black that says it's good till 2021 so I assumed it's the same idea for the Elegoo. I've messaged them and they answered that it's the production date and that it's good for another year. Can anyone confirm that? Seems weird to me!

Is there anyone out there having scaling issues from Chitubox to acctual physical prints?

Im printing custom arms and chest peices for miniatures and the scale ALWAYS seems off. I measure 2 to 3 times to make sure im right in the scale, but the prints always come out too small even if i set the scale (Z=5mm) in Chitubox correct.

I can show you what i mean when i get home and can take some pictures. Just wanted to throw the question out there early.

Hello all, its me again ? ?

Since i will be using the X10 resin from bluecast for my prints(for jewelry) i am left with 2 Anycubic resins(one is castable) that are not good for what i want. What i was thinking is that i can use them to make jewelry models out of resin and then put them in a display unit in my shop just for people to see different designs that i might not have ready at the time. Or even just to show something different.

So my question is, how can i protect the models from becoming too fragile? The display unit will get some direct sunlight at some point during the day.
Is there anything i spray on them? Or any other suggestions?

Need help guys!
Most of the model printed great! But the little orc riding on top didn't come through for some reason. You can see his arms printed but not his torso or head. Does this just look like a lack of supports somehow?

Is it safe to mix different resins together? I have small bit of the green resin I got when I got my printer and I hate to waste it. The other resin I have is more anycubic resin just a different colour

After watching the latest Makers Muse I was surprised that the peopoly screen is rated to last ~400 hours... I can’t find the same info for the photon. 400 hours seems short to me. I know many people run their machines almost non stop. That would end up making the LCD a monthly replacement. Is anyone here getting that short of a life on the LCD?

Question:
Can someone shed light on the business model behind hobbyists/professionals printing miniature characters, Sanding , finishing and then painting them.

What platforms are they thereafter put on. What kind of monetary gain is made from such prints.

Any insight will be appreciated.

Usually ... (Especially on YouTube), People make modifications and a lot of work without posting results... or even trying before recommending it.

Many solutions posted are useless for me. They don't really work.

I waited to get the results first before posting this solution.

I FUCKING SOLVED THE FUMES PROBLEMS!!!

This looks like an over-kill solution but solved my problem.

The amount of air pressure is amazing. You can't tell by the pictures but is sucking like crazy.

From the other side, I can't smell the odors, which means that the filter is working as it should.

I am OK replacing the filter every month or whatever it takes.

This is it.

I am in peace with SLA.

EDIT: I recommend to reverse the tent since the fumes are more dense than air, so the fumes actually fall to the bottom, they don't go up.
