Hi there Guys,

Ive seen many of You with heated beds and was thinking about upgrading to one, too.

Got to question for that topic:
1. As Atom has released the new Firmware with Heated Bed support, is there an official Atom 2.0 Heatbed?
2. The electronics should Work with simple mk3 heatbeds without any additional power supply, right? Just plugging in and going straight ahead?

WiggleLamp4

This lamp is similar WiggleLamp3, but has more and wigglier wiggles, and the wiggles have rounded curves instead of sharp edges. The lamp can accommodate either a multi-colored LED light kit or an all-white one. Here are links for both kinds of lights:

I printed WiggleLamp4 with yellow PLA, and to ,my surprise it works well with either the white or colored LED. The first photo shows the lamp with the LED off, and the others show how it looks with the LED set to different colors. Here is a short video of the LED changing colors by itself:

This print took a little over 30 hours with a layer height of 0.200 mm and a print speed of 55 mm/sec. For this print I changed Retract from 6 to 5 mm and increased Acceleration from 700 to 1100. The printer was still noticeably smoother and quieter than when I had Acceleration at 2000, so it looks like 1100 is a good compromise. However, there was some stringing on the inside of the part, so I am changing Retract back to 6 mm.

因為幫朋友設計紀念品，又發現兩件可以分享的事情。

第一點就是列印接近滿板的工件時，噴頭移動距離一拉長(或是移動靠近邊界)，就有機會發生移動上「頓挫 抖動」的問題，透過降低機台加速度可以改善(我最終降到200才完全讓現象消失)，推測是marlin的線性加速度控制與delta轉換間的運算頻繁造成的lag。如果有機會改32位元控制板也許會改善？

第二點就是牽絲控制其實不用太高的空走速度，也不用太在意噴頭尖端被工件風扇冷卻，只要回抽速度及距離夠大，流量微調降一點，還有最最重要的是料要「新鮮」(今天剛開的botfeeder)，要作到不牽絲應該也不是不可能的任務。

Ver. 2.06 firmware supports heated bed, but how to get one for basic Atom2 with plain glass bed?

Acceleration changed 2000 ==> 600

My printer works much better, quieter, and no slower with LCD acceleration set to 600. Why not make this change in the next firmware release?

請教各位前輩，不曉得雷射功能，有什麼推薦轉CODE的軟體?嘗試用INKSCAPE加上外掛JTP_Laser_Tool，MARLIN韌體於DETLA不支援CODE G3畫弧度的指令，無法正常工作。目標需求是想讓雷射是沿著繪製路徑跑，而非是透過許多小點組合而成，影片是我使用Kisslicer產生路徑 在手動修改Code達成的效果。

Strange printer behavior - what to do?

After performing an Auto-Home function, when I begin a print the printer makes a "jump" before it moves the printhead down to the printbed. The jump is really more of a jerk type movement that it never did before. The net result is the printhead ends up in the wrong place (too close to the printbed) to extrude properly.

It seems that the jump motion causes the printer to lose track of its vertical position, but I can't figure out why it has started doing this for no apparent reason.

To deal with this I have reloaded the printer firmware (twice), spent a lot of time with Z-offset, verified all the mechanical parts of the printer are ok, etc. The problem happens with both Craftware and Simplify3D, so I don't think it is a GCode problem.

[ 新手發問 ]
拿到ATOM組好機器後，馬上試印，試印結果還算成功，加熱速度跟使用上都算正常，但在之後就沒成功過，開始出現加熱速度很慢，後來出現Err: MINTEMP的問題，爬文後發現有類似問題，有重新檢查線路跟重新灌韌體，Err: MINTEMP的問題就沒出現，但只要選「加熱到200度」選項就會出現溫度上不去以及變壓器上的小藍燈跟LCD螢幕微微的閃爍跟聲音，想請問是電壓還是變壓器出問題？

2.0有新韌體推出，新增中途換料功能
