Please help - assembled printer last night and worked well. Today the motors will not work. Turn on and nothing - just high pitched noise.

Which printer do you have? Does the LCD light up? If so, what does it say? Can you do AutoHome? Is the printhead somewhere near the middle of the print space? Any loud noise is usually caused by one or more of the stepper motors trying to move the printhead to a location outside the valid print space. Don't let this continue for more than a few seconds at most.

Thank you for your reply. Atom support is sending new board and drivers; motors only work in one driver in one slot on board. Frustrating because its a brand new build. I have an Atom 2.5EX. Where are you located? I am in Virginia

Anyone own a 2.5EX or any printer in the US? Our son is getting one for Christmas and I'd love to find people who he can connect with in the states.
