Added a Polystroooder triple hotend to the Atom 2.0. This hotend will allow for both multiple colors, as well as multiple materials to be printed in the same part. Eventually I will need to upgrade the control board, but I'm going to use the original Atom electronics to dial in the dual extrusion first, then move on to triple extrusion.

如果沒升降切換機構,三噴這樣搞意義不大

Moko Jenson Huang 等你分享三噴機構模型XD

This is only part one of the build. I am adding a second extrusion motor now for a the second hotend, and a third will be added when I can upgrade the control board.

I suppose you'll need to switch to the Duet for that, but what about slicing? I haven't seen slicers with triple effector/extruder support.

This looks like a promising configuration - far better than the multi-in/single-out ones I've tried.,But When there is a nozzle change, where will the software be that adjusts the nozzle position to allow each of the 3 nozzles to continue printing in t he correct location? In theory it could be either in the printer firmware, or in the slicer code, but there has to be some way to invoke it when there is a nozzle change required.

Hello all. When printing, I am having an issue with my hotend where the temperature is very unstable, jumping around all over the place. This only recently started happening when printing. When not running a g-code file through, the temperature is able to stabilize very well, and this issue only comes about when actually printing. I've tried running PID autotune and although this made the temp more stable when not printing, the issue still persists when running a g-code file. Any suggestions as to why this may be happening?

Anyone have experience printing TPU with the ATOM? I just bought a spool and am having troubles with jamming near the hobbed roller.

Try Speed limit to 15mm/S, no retraction

Anyone printing with the ATOM heated bed: Are you printing ABS, and are you having troubles with electronics overheating and causing the stepper motors to miss steps?

Carmelo Gonzales What's your room temperature?
Did you try to monitor the inside temperature around the controller board?

Clarence Lee The room temp is about 23C. I haven't directly measured the temp around the control board, but will do that this weeken with an extra thermistor I have.
I'm almost certain the board overheating is my problem though, because I'm only skipping steps when I use the heated bed.
