Heated Bed - Firmware bug in 2.0.6 - Update to 2.0.7 !!!
Hawke ChienSheng Liu 2016-09-30 23:03:34
It's because of heat bed. It reduced Z axis stroke. If you keep using 2.0.6, MANUAL_Z_HOME_POS should be reduced by 10mm in configuration.h

I just made a firmware update via USB and ended up with this:

check arduino ide log
Jörg Johow 2016-05-26 23:37:55
I get a very long list of errors. Too long to post it here.

try use Arduino 1.0.6 version
Jörg Johow 2016-05-27 00:20:20
I tried Version 1.0.6. same problem. "Z_PROBE_OFFSET" was not declared in this scope" And many other errors.
Jörg Johow 2016-05-27 00:21:23
I have the correct COM Port and Baud-Rate. And I have used "Arduino Mega 2560" setting.
Jörg Johow 2016-05-27 00:21:36
This report would have more information with "Show verbose output during compilation" enabled in File > Preferences. Arduino: 1.0.6 (Windows 7), Board: "Arduino Mega 2560 or Mega ADK" Marlin_main.cpp:165: error: 'Z_PROBE_OFFSET' was not declared in this scope Marlin_main.cpp: In function 'void calibrate_print_surface()': Marlin_main.cpp:917: error: 'AUTOLEVEL_GRID' was not declared in this scope Marlin_main.cpp: In function 'void calculate_delta(float*)': Marlin_main.cpp:2450: error: 'DELTA_DIAGONAL_ROD_2' was not declared in this scope Marlin_main.cpp: In function 'void adjust_delta(float*)': Marlin_main.cpp:2476: error: 'AUTOLEVEL_GRID' was not declared in this scope

Multicolored PLA :)
原文網址 Jörg Johow 2016-01-25 18:45:50
Hi there! I am very happy with my Atom Printer 2.0 - I switched from CURA to Simplify3D and my prints turned from "quite good" to "absolutely amazing". No more warping at all and I only use gluestick but to skrit, raft or anything. PLA sticks like hell. But here comes my question: I bought high quality ABS and tried some prints. It does not work at all. :( I tried all kinds of settings, different adhesives. Nothing helps - ABS peels of two seconds after it was applied. From the printer settings I tried differend temperatures, rafts and skirts of different sizes. Nothing helps ABS sticking. :( As adhesives I tried: glue stick (3 differend brands), Wood glue (thinned with water and pure), hair spray (2 different brands). When I finally lost faith in ever beeing able to print ABS was, when evend the magic solution made of acetone and ABS did not work. There I started with a very thin solution and went up to increasingly thicker solution. Nothing helped. :( I seems like I have to go for a heated bed? Any ideas? Thx!!!

you need heatbed https://www.facebook.com/atom3D/posts/1729710383926629
Jörg Johow 2016-01-25 18:50:55
Which one would you recommend?
Samuel Chiou 2016-01-25 19:54:17
Around €15 Euros with an embedded thermoresistor. Covers at least 65% of base glass area. http://goods.ruten.com.tw/item/show?21543906908412
Samuel Chiou 2016-01-25 19:55:10
I bought this one in Taiwan, but needs a new power supply, for PLA, no glue required if hotbed heating to 60 deg C. Except taking a little bit longer to reach 60deg C starting from 14 deg C ambient temperature, around 10 mins, no issues found yet. However, significant temperature difference between inside the hotbed coverage area and outside of it on top of glass due to poor thermo conductivity of the glass.

Jörg Johow 2016-01-26 06:20:03
Hi Jose - as I wrote in my first post. Tried it - did not work. :)
Jose Antonio Fernandez Camero 2016-01-26 06:45:45
Oh I see now, sorry to hear that as it's in the to do list

I keep having warping problems with my Atom 2.0. What are the best parameters to play with?
Charlie Ting 2015-12-10 04:42:31
Depends. Maybe you can share some pictures, then we can point out which are most significant in your situation.

1. Enable brim to avoid this problem. 2. Slow down your first layer speed. 3. Shut down fan/cool. 4. Higher temperature than normal object.

Is this a good printing result? The tube looks a bit uneven? Pls comment! http://youtu.be/_2kYUK8rhj4 See the Youtube Video for HD.
辜元志 2015-10-08 16:57:17
The quality looks pretty good!!I think the tube is only for increasing print-time of each layer. So a bit uneven is acceptable.
