Does anyone else have an issue with the FEP sticking/gripping to the glass as you are trying to slide the vat into the machine?.

Only started doing it since i have replaced the FEP (was the spare anycubic one you get with the machine and i did remove both sides of plastic.

Just to be sure its not leaking and i have cleaned both surfaces with ipa and even tried furniture polish but it still does it. Any ideas?

Okay guys, need your help again.

I searched the group and didn't find anything specific on this issue...

I didnt use supports but now my prints are stuck to the build plate itself. Lol

Any suggestions on how to remove each one without breaking them?

(I poured a little IPA on it but they haven't budged yet)

I have a question about post-processing. I want to do a print of about 8 minis at once, but I find I am pretty slow to cut everything off before getting it under the UV. Here is my process on my single prints: Print -> Put in Isopropyl Alcohol Bath and rub off extra resin until it is not slimy feeling -> cut off supports -> UV light.

If I do it with 8 minis then I am thinking I should just leave the ones I am not working with in the IPA bath until I am ready to cut off the supports? Does anyone print multiple items at a time and if so what is your process to make sure things still come out great?

So I haven't used my photon for a few months. I've been really busy and haven't had a real need to until lately. I saw that there was a new firmware available so updated my firmware to the latest, re-leveled my build plate, downloaded the latest version of chitubox and just did a text print. I still have to figure out how to make this new threaded rod stop squealing at me (probably have to loosen some things) but after throwing a little paint on this I am basically in love with the details, like damn, I've not had a print come out this great before! No post processing on this piece at all other than paint. No sanding, no filing off the support pimples. Mostly because I printed this in transparent yellow so I couldn't even see any of the details or the pimples. Just an ultrasonic bath in IPA, and some paint :)

My IPA bath gets cloudy and sticky over time while using it, I've done the cure in sunlight with a closed lid thing to try and solidify the resin in it, but it doesn't seem to really get it clean, filtering it leads to clogged filters and doesn't get rid of the cloudiness, how do others set up their IPA to clean it and reuse it?

What bath solution is everyone using ? just ipa? ipa mixed with something? something else?

my procedure right now is out of the machine into ultrasonic cleaner with pure alcohol, take it out snip supports clean with a toothbrush back into the second side of the cleaner with just alcohol again, then into the nail salon

So, I'm finding the fumes of the IPA are much more of an irritant for my throat than the smell of the resin. For breathing PPE, what kind of masks do you guys use? Just a dust mask or do you go for an N-95 or what?

Alternatives to IPA ?

Anyone know of some good cleaning alternatives to IPA that you can get in the UK (or EU). I read about stuff that is much healthier, smells nicer with names like Mean Green xxx but they all seem to be US products.
