Quick Chitubox question!
Will all those little support nubs print onto the exterior of the model? They are heavy supports that are supporting the inside. Maybe the model walls are too thin?

My brother modeled these cute little ham-hams, they're hollowed out and will be used for mold-making.

My first ever 3D print (just got the Photon today!). It took nearly 6 hours to do, is that quite normal for this test?

Also, does anyone have experience of operating the printer in a colder part of the house (say the garage) but keeping the resin at a decent temperature inside the house right up until printing?

Hi, I'm looking to print something on my photon at a higher resolution. Going from a .05 to a .02. As a general rule, how much do you reduce the exposure settings for this sort of change?

So I've been having some prints do some weird things lately, like warping (during the print, not when curing), missing parts of the print, etc. At first, when it was primarily warping, I thought it might be due to being left hanging for too long, as it's sometimes 20+ after a print finishes before I get back out to the shop to remove/clean. However, this latest print failure has me wondering. This happened immediately after a different, successful print covering the same amount of the bed.

It did get pretty cold last night, and I was printing through the night (trying to get baddies ready for our session on Monday), so I'm beginning to wonder if that might be the cause. I believe it got down to around 40f, and the shop isn't insulated so it's safe to assume that was pretty close the ambient temp for the printer.

Anyone have any experience with failures like these/printing at those temperatures? Should I just not plan to print when the weather's like this?

Firstly, sorry its my 1st go actually using the resin exposure finder method and I want to get it right before i do a 12 hour print on this new resin :D

1st photo is back lit with LED lamp, 2nd just camera night mode rather than flash.

Am i looking at 8 or 9 here perhaps? so 16/18 seconds? Seems quite high Elegoo ABS like grey resin

Hey Photonsters, noob here (lots of FDM experience though). I got a Photon this week and ran the test cube and everything looked good. After that, I started printing a lightsaber chassis. After curing the print yesterday, I went to test fit and its way too big. Like 1.2 mm too big. The back end of it is also supposed to have a 90 degree angle and it printed at around 80-ish. Any idea what the issue is here? Some initial research has taught me that dimensional accuracy is not the photon's strong suit but is there anything I can do to get this margin of error down?

Printing with Anycubic clear. .025 layer height. Recommended settings from the spreadsheet. Auto supports and orientation from prusaslicer, sliced in chitubox, run through the photon validation too.
