Shout out to Bob Deblier , Jacob Palmer , Robb Nunyu, and others who busted on me for my dogmatic faith in the Magic Spreadsheet exposure times.

I kept lowering my exposure times (considerably) until stuff started to break off the supports mid-print.

Honestly, I'm not yet willing to concede that the detail is demonstrably better, but at least I'm spending less time waiting on prints of equal quality.

When I'm wrong, I'm wrong. I was wrong.

Is there a less brittle resin than Anycubic Gray Basic? Any kind of ball and socket joint i print snaps after curing, or fuses if i managed get it in before curing. Needs to flex more, but still be hard.

Ok so I’ve read through some of the documents and warnings. I bought a new Photon S - are they as terrible as the announcement said? Is there a support group separate for these since they are not “original” photon printers? Before I get too excited about my purchase I wanted to be sure I didn’t have a dud of a printer.

Suggestions for loosening the plate. I had 2 successful prints yesterday but the 2nd one was larger. I removed the plate and releveled. Next 2 prints have failed. Now the plate won't budge. I'm clueless as to how to fix it. Maybe I stripped the screw or something, but should I go about fixing a too tight plate.

For the record, here is my 1st realization . Learning to use the next generation of CAD solution (Onshape) and used my new Photon to turn my creation into manifestation. Such a great felling to see virtual creation materialize!

BTW, Onshape is free for hobbyist.

Hello. I just bought a Photon S printer and I have a problem. After install, everything was fine, except my printer can't see any file in the "Print" section.... I also updated the firmware, it was successful, meaning that the USB stick is fine.
