I wanted to run an idea by you guys.
I have some clear resin coming, and I thought it would be neat to print clear dice, and have a negative space in the center, like a skull, or literally anything really. I would also have a small hole leading from the outside of the dice to the negative space, that I could stick a needle through and inject resin into, which I could then just cure from the outside, since the dice would be clear. Then to fill in the hole, inject clear resin and hit with more UV.
What do you guys think? As dice, would they roll well as long as they're completely solid like this, or is there a chance they could be "weighted"?
Is there a better way to do this?
Any problems I may come across?
Any thoughts are appreciated.
PS. This video is what gave me the idea.
