Hey gang, I've been only printing at 0.05 layer height. I've run the Photon S exposure test (took the .pws file off thingiverse and loaded it straight into my machine) and figured my exposure at 9 seconds.

I'm now considering getting more detailed prints at 0.03 layer height. Would I need to change my exposure settings? If I do, then how would I run the exposure test at 0.03 layer height? The file was a .pws file :/

Hi guys

Question: what software do you use when scan faces ? I know about skanect but its compatible with kinect...

I have a Bellus3D camera sensor but they do not provide the software for windows anymore.. it was a total bull$hit lots of crashes and errors.. so I’m stuck with the camera and I want to use it on my portable computer.. any suggestions please ?

I just cleaned out my printer and started using the ELEGOO standard grey. It prints great, but there is a weird flaw, my rafts are thin, like paper thin. I have them set at 1mm like always, but they are very thin, I haven't lost a print because of it but the bases I have printed directly on the plate are thinner than they should be, any idea what is happening?

I am currently having huge problems with my Photon, after months of successful printing. A few days ago I noticed that my printer was making weird noises from time to time. It appears that the stepper motor is trying to move but is not actually moving (or at least not completely). I greased it up but the problem still remains (it got a little better I think but it is still preventing successful prints). Since then it also happened that the motor was unable to move the z rod and got completely stuck. I needed to turn the z-rod manually to get it going again. Did somebody have this problem before? Or any ideas on how to solve it? Do I need a motor replacement?

Does anyone know how to fix this I replaced the lcd screen replaced lcd screen before it worked fine, firmware up to date no idea what to do so any suggestions or ideas would be great

Based on what I'm seeing it seems like my LCD screen is getting glitchy. It happens on the right side and it's happened with three different prints from two different usb sticks. And as I'm sitting here watching it run a print empty, every so often it does expose too much. You can see in the first picture of the screen what it is supposed to be printing but every once in awhile I get something like in the other pics of the screen. Since I've tried 3 different files on two different USB sticks I'm leaning towards the LCD screen going out.
Do you guys agree with me that that is probably an accurate assumption?
I kind of thought it would last a little bit longer since I've only had my printer since about the middle of December.
You guys think I'm right and thinking is the LCD screen going bad?

So my printers being real dumb today.
I did a print earlier this morning and no problems.
Started the second printer and went back later to take the finished print out and found it had done maybe a layer or 2?
It seems to be restarting itself.
Really not sure what's going on, going to reload the print file and give it another go, see if that is the issue.
Is anyone else has any ideas your advice as always is deeply appreciated!!!

它似乎正在重新開始.
真的不知道到底發生了什麼, 要重新載入列印檔案, 然後再做一次, 看看這是不是問題.
