Input Needed

So I've got my brand spanking new Photon set up and ready to go. I've done the default paper leveling method (home the bed without the vat, adjust down until printer paper pulls out with resistance but won't push back in, etc).

I've also seen the Flint Reed method.

Thing is, paper method does not mention moving the build plate back up a couple of 0.1's while the Reed method does. Or at least if the paper method does I missed it?

So do I need to re-level and give it a little space as the Z=0 ala Flint Reed, or is the "paper can slide out but not push back in" enough space for it as is?

I'm having lots of trouble with my photon S lately. All my prints end like that, i re-leveled de printer a bunch of times and it stills happening. I also increased bottom layers and bottom exposure without succes.

The resin is anycubic orange, which worked very well until a few days ago.
Any idea?

Just find out that photon does have ethernet port on its pcb and also do have a slot for esp-01 to be installed for wifi connection.
Is it true for any version of Photon?
Does anyone has an success experience on activating wire or wireless connection?
Will appreciate any link to step by step guide.

I have no idea what happened.
Print was fine, wash was fine, everything.

Only thing I did differently was I didnt get to cure it as fast as I wanted to. Waited 12hrs after the wash, came back and alot of these failed.

Hey guys, first-time printer here, potentially stupid question: I tried the FLint Read method of leveling the plate as reccommended by a friend, and when I go to start the test print the build plate actually submerges beneath the resin, I have no idea if that's SUPPOSED to happen or if just the flat side of the plate is supposed to make contact, worried about wasting a load of resin like that. Is that normal or did I do something incorrect in leveling?

My friends. When you 3d-print for people, what is a reasonable rate to charge per hour. I am considering allowing friends and friends of friends to order 3d-prints from me and I do not want to have unreasonable prices but at the same time not undersell the time spent working on it.

I am thinking a base price of like $5 (translated to Swedish Kronor though) which would be the like cost of the electricity, the disposable gloves etc etc. Whilst then the material price is added on that and then rounded either up or down (depending on how much or little it is). +1 hour

And then I want to add a fee for every hour/half hour after that, and this is where I struggle.

So my question is basicly, irregardless of the material costs and such, what is 1 hour of printing time worth?

Sorry if this doesn't make sense or anything, I am abit tired today and English is not my first language.

Hi, I've been printing out nice prints on my Photon printer for a couple of months now but I've recently started printing things that connect together. Like parts fitting inside other parts. I noticed when I print these even though they look nice the parts do not fit together without some extensive modifications to them. Others printing the same thing are not experiencing these issues so I wanted to post here and see if it is possible I am overexposing or underexposing my prints thus causing them not to fit well together. I'm using Elegoo gray resin with 15 second layers. Thanks!
