Anycubic Photon Printer Owners 造訪社團 » UV

Hi all,
New and happy owner of a Photon S here!
I've designed a part for an old moped that I'm trying to print. I used auto support generation in PrusaSlicer. My print came out fine but not perfect. Where the supports were the part's surface looks like it was melted. The other side is perfect. See pictures.
I used Anycubic Aqua Blue resin, 0.05mm layer, 50/9s exposure, 8 bottom layers. I cured the part with 60W UV light for about 40 minutes (I guess this irrelevant).
Any clue how to make it better? More supports?
Thanks!

I get that the best practice is to not get uv resin on your skin, but if you do get a bit of the devil's sap on your mitts, what's the best way to get it off without feeling like everything is sticky?

I'm making a new curing chamber. I've read that stark white paper can be better than aluminum foil. I searched the group and only came up with one post and no real answers.

It would be a large are with two medium sized UV lights at each end and strips along the top. Any suggestions?

Is anyone familiar with the Monocure Calibration Matrix? Specifically, this model? Here is my first 2 daft questions of the group - I searched and found nothing to help. I have been trying to dial in my exposure settings before trying to print again.

I can see the obvious, like when the bridge bends, rounding on the corners, the text not appearing correctly. BUT... How am I supposed to know when it is right? I can't seem to find a guide on what each test does or is it just a case of whatever one looks good go with it? The bad ones are obvious but there is 2/3 all look VERY similar

So far I seem to be having trouble getting the 'c' in ctrlv to show clearly. The notches in the bottom left also seem to be hit n miss. Printing at 0.025 layer height, variety of exposure lengths. Finally, the bottom left towers... The thin one seems to flop?

Second question - Post curing time. There seems to be a massive variance to this. Some people saying 2 mins and some leave them for hours/day. I understand size is a factor but can anyone give me a guide on say a 28mm figure under an artificial UV lamp? We don't get much sun in Scotland :(

Thanks for any advice ? ???????

I wanted to replace my blue windows with UV ones. Are there any for sale anywhere? I also Have a laser cutter I could cut my own if I anybody had links to acrylic that would work. I would like to be able to see through somewhat still.

Question for those use ultrasonic cleaner and mean green/simple green. decided to finally give it a try. I used mean green/simple green long ago, but found it be sucky. Trying with ultrasonic cleaner is way better. Just general question. Do any of you heat it? How long do you normally leave it going? Been using 3 mins heated to 40c with Elegoo abs-like. Noticing some of prints even after drying still has some 'shinny' spots. Should be I leaving it longer? Also do you empty it and use uv light to cure resin in the cleaner?

Hi everyone! Why Anycubic's white resin changes it's color to a light yellow after uv curing? Can I cure it and keep the white color? Any tips?
Edit: I've found some previous posts about people with same problem, BUT I like to know if there's anything I can do to avoid this.
