I saw a photo recently where they had printed the Eiffel Tower on a lean with supports. Please know that it is self supporting and can be printed straight up. But getting the print off the bed can cause damage while it’s soft.
Has anyone got a rule of thumb for how big a base can be and still allow easy removal?
I’ve designed a beautifully delicate wing but wreaking it taking it off.
Also can we cure the print on the plate so it’s stronger for removal or will that make it stick to the plate?

I have searched to no avail. My print goes well for about 1/2 way, then it advances up with no extra layers, and when finished I came back to hardened resin on nearly the entire bottom of the fep. Any ideas?

Hi guys! New 3d printer here. I am a leatherworker and have been trying to make my own stamps the last couple of days.
I use Selva3d to transfer 2d to 3d, and then TinkerCad to add a base. Then I stick the whole thing into CHITUBOX to actually print it. My measurements are 4mm for the base and 2mm for the actual image but this is what has printed. I measured 5mm base on both and a 1mm image on one and a stinkin half mm on the other.
I did another print with 4mm/3mm and the base came out 4mm but the image came out as 2mm.

Is this something that will keep happening or is that specific to some setting or something that I can fix?
(I'm also getting ghosting on some of the stamps, not all. I print several at once)

Cupid and Psyche from the Louvre. Keep being amazed by the excellent print quality. Used white Wanhao. The odor is strong, but it has a nice marble like color.

Awesome failure. You have to love the SHEAR elegance of it!

On a side note. this is the 2nd time I've had shearing (and in the same 1/2 of the front of the screen both times). Using 4.2.5 FW. Is there a preferred FW version that doesn't result in shearing issues?
