Hey people! Most of my prints are coming out perfectly.
After printing I put them for 1-3 minutes in methanol alcohol, in a jar which I constantly shake during this time. Afterwards I put it in a UV spotlight on a 360 turning disk. However, I seem to get a lot of random white spots on my prints. They feel different then other print surfaces, they look like the color was scratched off, but u didn’t touch it, especially not in some small areas hard to reach...
I tried raising the lamp time while printing but that didn’t seem to resolve the issue.
Does anyone have a solution for this?

Bluecast x5,x10 and cr3a are some resins that are being used for jewelry with success. What other resins do you use for jewelry? I wanna see what variety there is out there.

Given the lack of information/misinformation that I have seen on this rather useful forum, I was wondering IF folks would like to see a side by side comparison of a properly done MSDS/SDS with a NOT properly done one. The differences are very important and help folks be able to properly deal with materials in a safe and effective manner that also allows for use of said materials that doesn't endanger the person nor the environment. As there are international standards on how these forms are to be done.

For those of you who make models or action figures, rotational joints are a pain in the ass for resin, but after a lot of trial and error I've come up with a fairly painless method that doesn't involve purchasing expensive flexible resin or splitting your sculpt down the middle.
You can use this sheath design for shoulders, necks, wrists, ankles, or any other parts that need to spin in a socket. I've shrunk it down as small as 8mm and still had it work, and you should be able to scale it up as large as it needs to go.

How to prevent separated support in picture 1? Exposure time is 8s. On 2nd picture, is it possible to remove the line with anti aliasing? I didn't turn it on

EDIT: I used heavy auto support on Chitubox. Then I validate it using Photon Validator and make changes to it.

So, first print test, first failure! Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

I didn't change the settings from the default, which I know are set to work with the translucent green sample resin (which I didn't get). I'm using Anycubic Grey instead.

It looks like it didn't ever stick to the build plate at all.

Still curing it though, because I loves my first baby boy ;)

Thoughts?
