Hey y'all. Just noticed something, wanted to know the group think. Going through my first round of routine maintenance and noticed some things.

Original photon owner, maybe four or five months now. Bought brand new.

My lead screw has a very small amount of play, maybe a millimeter or two in any direction. This is especially noticeable when the bed is at home position. The actual blue metal bed plate holder does not move when traveling up and down.

Is that normal? I never noticed it before but I also never thought to check either.

Also, I have a very very small several pixel wide tiny bit of resin or something cured on the screen. I've tried the lens wipes. Can I wipe it down with a microfiber cloth that has ipa on it or will that damage the screen?

Hi! I can’t tighten my build plate so that it doesn’t move anymore it doesn’t tilt but I can rotate it although all srews are tightened very well. I already disassembled the hole build plate but can’t find the problem. Any suggestions?

So still having some problems getting a print. I basically get a disc of resin. Based on the suggestions I have gotten here, I have confirmed levelling and balancing (using the 3DPrintFarm video recommended) and checked that the FEP is tuned to 315.

Still no joy. What's next on this troubleshooting path? (I'm convinced the problem is PEBCAK) I know there's settings I can tweak within the slicer software...but any tweaks I make would be shooting blindly...is there a good resource to read up on what each setting does and how adjusting affects output?

Let's say- hypothetically- that I was at work with my computer but without the thumb drive that came with my Photon. Is there someplace for me to download the contents of the thumbdrive and do the setup on my computer that I would need to do to test the printer?

Hey guys, was doing great with my printer but I've got a new problem. It seems that now when I do prints, half the lcd or UV light will stop working. Anyone else had this problem and know of a fix? If I switch the machine off and on again the full exposure is working but of course when I start the prints half of it fails after some time.
