I am using the Elego Standard resin at the moment, was using their ABS like resin (with no issue). Currently when I remove a mini sometimes the base shatters. Any suggestions on what I should change on my settings?

Late joining the resin printing gang, and with a certain virus going around I can’t source any 99% IPA. Good alternatives that work with the wash and cure station? California USA based. Denatured alcohol?

Hello group,

I am running a bit frustrated this weekend at not being able to produce prints so I will request your assistance.

I order my Anycubic Photon along with 500ml of clear resin. Wonderfull, made great prints (other not so great :P but its part of process). After struggling a bit with a hole in the FEP I decided to order new film and more resin (Anycubic Green).

This is were my issues start. I replaced the film and even though I did not remove the plastic cover that comes with it I managed to perfect batches of prints to finish the Clear resin. Then I realized there was the plastic cover so I removed and poured the new Green resin.

From then every print now sticks to FEP regardless of what I do.Reading around for solutions I change the print setting to something more apropriate to that particular resin, I have tensioned my FEP film properly, and I made sure that I have enough temperature (unfortunatelly can't get near optimal at this time of year but I have printed with colder so it should still work) and still it sticks to FEP. Even more odd to me was that in one of my now 6 attempts or so, one of the figures actually stuck to the plate and I got a beatiful Artisan's guild Dwarf perfectly printed. His hands and backpack (separate pieces) on the other side got stuck to FEP.

I am wasting alot of time and some resin with this ? after the last batches of Clear resin I was so happy I finally had a nice setup and was ready to start printing more intesively and another obstacle hinder my way.

Any thoughts on how I can fix this?

Thanks in advance

Hey folks, hoping someone can shed light on my issue. I’ve had my photonS for over a year, it runs well and I barely ever have an issue that I can’t resolve quickly. My screen recently crapped out so I replaced it and since doing so cannot get a print to stick to the bed if my life depended on it.

I’ve tried re-levelling the bed numerous times
My machine is perfectly level
The new screen works properly
I’m using resin I’m experienced with
Haven’t had any luck on different resins either
I tried re-sanding the bed on a perfectly flat surface to 220grit

I’m at a loss.... any ideas?

Looks like the film got pierced, leaving cured black resin on the screen. Have scraped some of it off (with meths to soften it). Oddly the printer had reset the Home default for the plate-arm-thing, so had to reset it and stop the grinding noise.
Vale printer. I think you are well dead! :(

看起來電影被刺穿了, 把治癒的黑色樹脂放在螢幕上. 已經刮了一些(用冰毒來柔軟). 奇怪的是印表機重置了盤子臂裝置的預設, 所以不得不重置它並停止磨損噪音.
Vale印表機. 我覺得你已經死了! :(

Hi Guys, new to the group and just about to start my first test print, however instead of the regular resin I have the translucent green eco resin.

I heave heard to check the bed is leveled it is best to print the test latice cube however since the exposure times and whatnot are set within the print file itself I was wondering if this test will still work with the eco resin or if it is only configured for use with the standard resin the printer usually ships with?

Can I still use the latice cube with the eco resin or is there a better test file I should use?

Sorry if the question sounds stupid, I am completely new to 3D printing, also sorry if this question has been asked before, I did a quick search and could not find anything that answered the question.

First print product on S photon machine: Resin Ifun. Hi...*** Due to the request of some of you want to have the file of the above printout after I post.*** - the link is for you to download and refer to how I use the support and the base to hold the printed object.
- is the first print so not really satisfied (the support is too big) ... link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1VmjvjPfXQFsn78WVgcIQ28FgxEm-X-z6/view 翻譯年糕

Random question. I'm a "little" OCD. The Photon was my first printer. One of the first prints I did there was some dripping of resin and hit the front panel (lid). I've tried wiping it down with IPA but the film is still there. Anyone else experience this and/or know how to clean it? Correct, it doesn't impact the printers function and does a great job, but the film is driving me CrAzY! It's like some random vehicle on the road threw up a rock on your windshield and you have a small imperfection. While driving, it's all I focus on...

This was hard to capture. Dr. Who David Tennant in H.O. scale. It is hard to see the details in his face but they are there. Painting this is going to be a challenge. This was printed using my favorite Hero resin in grey using .02 LH

Could I pour back resin into the bottle from the tray without any problems? I have a misprint stuck at the bottom of my tray and I don't feel like wasting a bunch of resin.
