I’m about ready to throw this printer out a window. I have 2 photon printers but one of them can’t get a good print to save my life. Have re-leveled using the flint reed and the paper method. No change in the print quality.

Was getting good prints with Elegoo grey resin but now nothing but crap. Model is pulling up from the build plate around the edges and it seems like the middle of my build plate the resin is thinner as well. Exact same photon file on one printer prints perfectly but the other one right next to it is just terrible. Is it possible I just have a bad component somewhere that is causing all of these issues.

Ran the exposure test and LCD looks good.

I'm printing with anycubic clear at .02 layer. Looking at the chart it said 30 for exposure time and it was highlighted in pink. My print was just a giant block. What does the pink highlight mean? What should my exposure be set at? All this is mute though as I am out of clear and switching to grey. But would still like to know.

Got my first prints out. They look ok. I kinda want more detail out of them. What why should I be fiddling with exposure time and thickness? With the resin I'm using make a massive diffrance?

Anyone else printing small fans/propellers for micro-RC? this is an experiment to create a 20mm fan using motors from a micro quad and build small planes using Depron. I was worried the blades would be warped but i turned out better than expected!

Hi guys.
Seems like my print randomly makes layer lining heavy. Anycubic photon. The picture is after using citadel chaos black primer. :(
(I put a usual key next to the model, so you can feel the size)

Is this normal?
I guess it is not, as then the whole modell should be like this.

Clear resin
0,02 layer thck
12 sec exposure
10 degrees lean on model.

Any help is much appreciated.

Just purchased the Photon, this being my first sla printer. Five years plus with fdm, so no stranger to 3d printing. I was hoping to get a few of you to give me your first experience with the Photon (or sla printing). I haven't looked at the faqs yet, getting there soon. When it arrives, I will scour this group (via search) for more answers.

I decided on time to check how the print is going, I was lucky :) ) I added resin on the go, without stopping the print. There were no visible consequences (except for color changes) on the model :)

Hi team, any obvious reason for my supports failing? It happens for heavy and light supports. I do not have the print settings with me but i have added in some Flex. Perhaps too much? Poor quality resin? It does not seem to be a calibration issue?
