Welp. Let my example be warning to others. I just printed quite a big part of my model three times and by my own stupidity ruined the first two. First I was curious how’s the print doing and paused the print. But the pause button didn’t seem to react so I pressed it, like the idiot I am, several times. It did stop the print. But also confused the printer, so after I resumed the print, it started “printing” in the air, hanging several centimetres above the vat. Oh well. I removed the 2/3 finished print, found few supports that were too close to the object and fused with it. Oh well, at least I could fix that. I moved supports, sliced in ChituBox, checked layers, exported and let print overnight. In the morning I found the “finished” print, missing almost exactly the same bit like the one I interrupted. I found out that if you export sliced object from ChituBox while checking your layers, the print stops at the layer you were checking! Oh well, resliced, reexported and third time was the charm.
So in conclusion, don’t press the pause button ten times in a row and always finish the layer check.

Because I'm an idiot and getting fed up after several print failures piling on top of each other and not managing to get even one proper piece after 10+ tries, I made a mistake and poured (through a filter, I'm not THAT idiot) the bottom of my vat (with transparent green resin, probably 50 mL approx) in my brand new untouched bottle of 500 mL opaque orange.

What should I do now ? Can I still use the mix by doing intermediate exposure time settings ?

Please, really please, don't go "pay more attention" or "store your bottles otherwise", I had a complete meltdown over it and over these failures and I really can't take it right now...

Yes I know it’s an elegoo Mars, but check out this video and count how many things this reviewer gets wrong about resin printing and how much absolutely idiotic stuff he does. I’ve never seen a more misleading, inaccurate and outright dangerous review of a resin printer.

Well I got her sanded and glued together still have some cleaning. Had to reprint the sword arm cause I'm an idiot and broke it but I am truly happy with my first assembly print and who wouldn't want Wonder Woman in their collection.

Question: I just got an Anycubic Photon to go along with my EPAX X1 and so far, its working out great! I was wondering if there was a way to change the color of the text in the menu screen? The Ohoton uses a light blue text on a whiote bnackground taht is very difficult for these 52 year old eyes to read. I can read the X1's light blue text on black background MUCH easier. Any hacks out there to chamnge menu screen colors?

I have my idiot newbie question of the day....

How long is it OK to leave a print in the printer after it's done before removing it? For instance, if I start a print which will take 4 hours and don't get back to the printer until 12 hours later would it still be OK for normal post-processing?

I tried to print some Device Box on photon. The result is quite disappointing.. say 6 cm by 8 by 3. Thinkness of the walls was inconsistent etc.. Has anyone printed kind of electroc/iOT device case on the printer?

Printer arrived in the mail today! Skipped the cube and went on to a part I've been needed for ages. Comparing it to my old on printed on the cr10 at .2mm just goes to show the difference. Idiot me still hasn't got the uv light so waiting for the sun to do its job tomorrow.
