Googled, checked reddit and can’t find any info on the red lights on the board. New owner as of today and awaiting their customer support. It won’t power up and just red lights on the board.

For everybody that is using a heater in your Photon - you might want to put some weatherstrips (sorry translated by google, not sure it is the right name) on the door closing surfaces (side and top). See the white strips on the pictures. This brought my heater 66% quicker to the set temperature that (20*C room temp to 33*C set enclosure temp in 3.5 min. Instead over >10 min). I am using an 100W 12V heater - modelled my own heating system on the enclosure (still need to put the files on thingiverse - want to adapt it before posting with some thermal runaway stuff due to some post i saw here).

So back in October, I had asked whether users of this group used an Android or iPhone as their daily driver. The response was overwhelmingly Android. I decided to go with Flutter so that I could make it available to both sets of people.

I am a student learning mobile development and wanted to make a sort of social platform for resin 3D printers, as a study project. I had this idea as there were a number of places to go on the internet for help with my Photon and thought it would be nice if there was a single feed of sorts. I also implemented a place to save resin profiles as I know I have had to consult that google docs page a number of times and thought it a good way to keep track of what's working.

I would really appreciate it if some of you would try it out and let me know what you think. My teacher will be grading me in a couple of weeks and it would really help if there was some activity in the app to show that I had gotten real people to use it and go through the results.

Hey! I see this come up a bunch here and I wanted to share my experience.

I spent several years developing LED strip lighting products.

Standard white LEDs use 480nm Blue Diodes and Phosphors, which take blue light and convert it to yellow and green to make White light.

480mm is the standard blue diode, royal blue/deep blue leds are available but their output is much dimmer so they are not used to make white LEDs (less efficient) or RGB LEDs (difficult to match diode brightness).

All diodes are slightly different, in terms of wavelength, output, temperature, voltage, etc.

Despite what the Google Images searches will show, 480nm LEDs DO have output all the way down to UV (although not much). The curve is more like an asymptote.

You don't need a Spectral Irradiance Meter to test this just turn on any RGB strip to blue and you will see fluorescence.

Do your White Task/Desk/Work LEDs have enough UV to cure resin? IMO, maybe, depends on the resin sensitivity at higher wavelengths and the intensity of the lights.

Is it better than fluorescent or sunlight? Absolutely.
Just something to keep in mind.

(Edit for clarity maybe)

My Photon USB came corrupted and so I never had the test file. Is this available anywhere? I'm guessing my google-fu is weak because I can't find it in the github, photon website or just generally on google.

Elegoo Resin Settings check! Just moving over to standard elegoo grey. The anycubic google sheet says 18s for normal exposure but the bottle suggested 8s!!!! Anyone had success at the lower end on their photon? Thanks!
