My friends and I have a tradition of watching Krampus each Christmas. So of course I couldn't resist making this after seeing it on thingiverse. Printed in anycubic green with a coat of Grey primer.

Painting is going to be challenging though as I need to give the appearance of rusty metal. I'm seeing lots of varying methods for painting rust when searching online though. Right now leaning towards using a dark metallic, stippling with some orange, using brown wash, then dry brushing. Anyone here that has done rust before and can recommend any particular method?

Multiple prints at the same time some worked while others didn’t. Any ideas why this is happening?

I’m also noticing that on some of the prints the supports look broken.

Still confused why some worked and some didn’t within the same printing.

Finally, I print in my garage to avoid exposing my kids to the fumes and possibility of touching the resin. Recently it’s been in the 30s and 40s when I am printing. Not sure if that’s why some prints are hit and miss

Has anyone used the anycubic photon to print molds for casting silicone / PDMS parts? I'm going to give this a try, and would love to hear any tips or feedback people have from past experience.

What do you think happened?
First of all, in the original file there is not the first layer that forms a film, it should be empty. (so I do not know why it behaves like that)
According to the piece I found it glued on the base, but to be so often, I think it has remained attached to the base for a while 'time and then it is detached.
The printer is calibrated and clean, so the sheet can come out by pulling but you can not push it.
I use isopropyl alcohol and a few drops of Rain off so that the piece is detached from the base during the initial phase. (otherwise it does not come off)
The settings are these:
- Layer thickness: 0.05
-Normal exposure: 12s
-Off time: 6.5s
-Botton exposure TIME: 100s
-Botton layers: 8
The press is in a room with an average of 12 degrees and relative humidity 50%
The resin is anycubic orange, but it is much more liquid than the original and the tips for printing are very similar.
I attach the link:

Thank you so much for any help

Hello all. I have a question regarding printing multiple objects on the Photon. I had successful prints on all, except when I put more than 1 object, only 1 print and others fail. Any ideas what is causing it? Any pointers for slicing, arranging the objects etc? Thanks

What do you think? Heavy supports, high density medium supports or high density light supports? Still wrapping my head around all this so it's basically still a test for me. This will help me figure out how to work multiple models in a print. I'm thinking 64% density medium supports

Should I re-calibrate every time I've removed the platform to scrape off figures?

I received my Photon a week ago and have printed five sets. Every time I remove the platform to scrape off figures, the pressure I apply moves the calibration. It doesn't matter how hard I tighten the platform, it's managed to angle the platform anyways.

I'm suspecting that it's because I'm holding onto the handle when I scrape. Should I be holding onto the platform instead?

Tips and tricks please. :)
