Hi guys! I became a happy owner of photon s printer and i have no fails for now, but i don't know what is this white coating on my prints in some places. When i take it out from printer everything is ok, then i clean it in isopropanol 70% and then i put into UV lamp. This white thing becomes visable after few minutes in this lamp

so i am getting a photon for christmas, can i use acetone to wash the resin instead of isopropyl alcohol? u cant really buy it here also i dont have a cure box, so i guess ill just have to use the sun

So you put your dirty isopropyl in the sun to cure the residue, but then what do you use to filter out the particulate matter? I've tried everything from coffee filters to paint strainers, but the weave is either too loose to catch the solids, or too dense to allow any liquids through.

(And my God, the messes I've made...)

Looking for input on my first failed test print (See image). I have been reading and have a list of things to try on the next attempt. Just a couple questions I cannot find answers to. First I am using the anycubic eco pink resin. It was shipped to me during -25 Celsius (-13 F) weather. Could the cold cause issues with chemical integrity? And second, I used Isopropyl alcohol 95% for cleaning. Will this harm the FEP? It looks cloudy and scratched after using the alcohol and paper towel.

My first (partially) successful print. Out of four rims three stuck to the bed and one, shown here, did not. I will add supports next time to avoid this.

However this is not the problem, rather the sticky touch and that white stuff ( I hope it is visible in the photos).

Cleaned with isopropanol directly after printing and hardened with UV light for about an hour.

What am I doing wrong?

PS. I am using 4x9 W UV lamps to cure.

I just found something strange ,that I have printed Anycubic resin and Photon. With white and grey I used the parameters as a picture below:
Layer: 0.05
Normal exposure time: 12s (with clear green: 8s)
Off time: 6.5
Bottom exposure time: 50
Bottom layer: 5
I have checked the curing time on some test files, 11-12s is perfect.
But the problems is after print, i feel i don't need post curing. They are cured enough and perfect to use immediately after printing and washing, Just print and washing with isopropyl.
If I intentionally post curing, they will become to crunchy.
is that normal ?
PS: I have a post curing tool but I haven't used it since I realized this.

How do people dispose of their resin contaminated waste? Gloves, filters, paper towels, broken supports etc.

Same question goes for contaminated isopropyl alcohol.

Question. Printing some hollowed stuff with pressure release holes.

Just printed in anycubic white. I cleaned it with 99% isopropyl. Flushed a number of times the inside of the hollowed figure.

Problem, it still slowly releases resin from the holes even after curing it in my curing chamber for a long time. (30 minutes) Please note 405 wavelength for curing chamber.

How to get it to stop resin from oozing out?
