Tragedy!

While processing a print, my build plate slipped out of my hand and struck my stone floor, leaving a raised dent on the corner of the build surface.

Any harm in just throwing a grinding wheel on my Dremel and trying to flatten that corner out as best I can?

Undercoated my first printed miniature last night.
Lots of little areas with room for improvement: Damage to small details from oversized support contacts, support contacts that I missed or under-sanded during cleanup, a couple areas where supports intersected or fused to the model.
I am still blown away by the quality of this piece. Thinking back to the first FDM-printed minis I saw just a few years back, this is simply light-years ahead.

I've been cleaning my prints in three plastic containers, two with 99% IPA and the third with clean water. Today I tried out a tip gleaned from this group and left my kinda-dingy first wash out in the sun to cure.

And now I'm not sure what to do with it. Should I strain it and keep using it? Should I keep it as my first wash or swap its contents with the second wash container? Is it now just slightly-less-hazardous waste that I should dispose of?

I've been printing on my Anycubic Photon (very first 3D printer) a little under a week. Bit of a rocky start figuring out how to properly level the build plate and hollow/vent large pieces. But the week has also been filled with learning experiences and minor triumphs!

Tonight was my first attempt printing highly detailed bits for 28mm minis. I printed two copies of one head on the same run. One came out nicely, another a few cm away (far left in photo) disconnected from the supports.

My question is this: Would you relevel your plate or review your support settings/placement after an isolated failure like this? Both? Can supports be "good enough" to work only sometimes, or build plates level enough to work over most but not all of their surface (seems plausible enough)?
