Hello everyone. Has anyone been brave enough to mix their resin with glitter? I'm experiencing three issues, using Anycubic Clear as base:
- Bed adhesion is VERY dependent on the amount of glitter between the build plate and the FEP film. Tried first layer settings with 2 layers at 20 seconds, to 8 layers at 60 seconds. Some 20 sec prints succeeded, while some 60 second prints failed. Not very surprising of course, but the glitters sink to the bottom over time which leads to the next issue
- When a print succeeds, most of the glitters are at the bottom of the print. The build plate moment is not enough to remix the glitters properly. I can only think of one solution; the glitters have to be lighter, or the resin has to be heavier. If anyone knows some other fancy solution, I'm glad to hear it.
Now I'm thinking, I'm using a fairly low amount of resin because this is an experiment. It is an option to fill the vat as much as possible, but it would be nice to have some certainty.
- When a print fails, the vat is littered with small pieces of cured resin. Normally one pours the contaminated resin through a filter, and all is done. But if I do that now, I lose all of my glitters.

Any suggestions?

Polyjuice Clear from Filaments.ca , with some drop of black pigment. Removed from plate, air blown detail i wanted to pop out and cured 30sec. No wash to keep the shinny look.
