I've been working on this for a bit and I finally have the character split up for printing. I'll have the STL for sale on Gumroad once I get everything dialed in. So far the print is roughly 7" tall and 5 pieces. I'm considering adding a necklace to cover the slice on the neck.

I cleaned out the vat of my Photon Zero with IPA and tested the FEP tension with a spectrometer app. I was getting about 450 Hz. I've seen people recommend lower, but since the vat is smaller, higher frequency would make sense to me. Does anybody know of recommended numbers for the Photon Zero?

Some of you saw my wild supports and thought it might fail :D

Well you were right and wrong! It didn't fail in the wild and weird supported zone but the basic supports on the arm completely failed and I can't imagine why. I added a few medium supports to that area in the hopes it will hold better and I'm going again :)

Hi guys i was hoping to see if any of you know of a way to bend a stl with out deforming it. I would love to make a chainmail braclet with this printer, but they all come modeled straight so they will not fit on the build plate. So I was thinking if it would be possible to make it go in a circle then it would fit. I tried in blender and it kept deforming the stl so im lost. If any of you guys have any ideas I would be greatly appreciative

And now we have the Bishop, a 2 headed wyvern. I love how Loubie put a crack in the main crystal as a nod to the “slash” found in traditional bishop pieces. Took about 8 hours on the Photon.

Check the styrofoam the machine came in. There should be a block with a pocket in it containing the build plate and tools for assembly.

You should return it. It clearly has been opened and messed with. Even if you get the extra parts you are running a high risk of the thing not working long or at all
