Anycubic Photon Printer Owners 造訪社團 » resin

原文網址 Andrew Steel

Just bought and started using a photon S. I notice that the github knowledge base only deals with the photon, anyone got a link for a photon S page, (resin cure tables ect) my search-fu is weak today.
Also I notice that alot of prints are pictured sliced at an angle, is this
A - an artifact of the slicer
B - so the print fits in the bath
C - to reduce suction force when the bed lifts. Reducing the chance of a failed print
???

Good morning from a cold and frosty Blighty.

Just a couple of questions, which I’d like to ask:

Is it beneficial to warm the bottle of resin in a bowl of warm water prior to printing to make it less viscous?

Also, I’m in the process of designing some buildings for my N Gauge model railway (1:148 scale) - see photo of the CAD file below, what’s the best policy / practice for adding supports and orientation (flat of tilted)? I’ve tried Chitubox with no success of adding supports and ended up using Anycubic Slicer and adding supports manually. Prusaslicer, I find too complicated and I just cannot get my head around it. The buildings I’ve designed are no more than 70 mm x 50 mm x 40 mm high.

Thanks in anticipation.

Im running anycubic gray eco resin and my exposre test was best at 18 to 20 secs per layer. Just wondering if that sounds about right? Im also running a raft for my supports and im going to go 10 bottom layers at 100 secs.

Okay big old question post time, I have a ton of things I'm curious about so I wanna get them all out at once.

1. What kind of respirator do you use? Link if possible.

2. Where do you put you broken off supports, failed prints, random resin garbage? In a special bin? Regular garbage?
3. How do you clean your vat/plate, right now I've been just rinsing down the sink (I feel like this is horrible and mother nature is pissed) there's gotta be a better way

4. How long of curing do you wait till you bare skin touch your prints? (mad lads who don't care don't apply)
5. How scratched of a build plate is too scratched? Pictures would also be appreciated of yours so I can gauge how busted/not busted mine is.

If this is all in a sticky post or something somewhere my bad, but this was my first go too instead of googling and getting a million different answers over hours.

Thanks.

That moment when you are desperately trying to keep the resin level up for the last few tiny layers before you completely run out. New resin arrives tomorrow.

那一刻, 當你正在拼命努力把樹脂水平保持在你完全用完之前的最後幾層. 新樹脂明天到貨.

Hi folks, saw a comment that you shouldn’t reuse nitrile gloves - i spent a bit extra hoping to get a pair that would last a while - waste of money? Can i wash them and then they are good again or does the resin just break it down?

Hey guys, I am also going to be asking for resin recommendations, i've gone through about 4L of Anycubic Green and I personally prefer translucent varieties of resins.

So if you can recommend ones that are pretty good let me know?

Just finished glueing several printed pieces together. There are very visible gaps at the joins and I want to fill them somehow. I know some people use resin but I am worried about over-curing these areas to the point where it model cracks. Is there some kind of putty that is recommended? Or any other method? TIA
