Hey guys, first-time printer here, potentially stupid question: I tried the FLint Read method of leveling the plate as reccommended by a friend, and when I go to start the test print the build plate actually submerges beneath the resin, I have no idea if that's SUPPOSED to happen or if just the flat side of the plate is supposed to make contact, worried about wasting a load of resin like that. Is that normal or did I do something incorrect in leveling?

If I add Flex100 or Tenacious to my resin (anycubic grey) should i change my settings such as exposure? I've heard 75/25 ratio works well, what are your preferences? Thanks as always!

Greetings, what is a reasonable way to count the volume of resin used? How inacurate is Chitubox?

I know I have to add around 5-10% for run off and all that

Quick question re multiple prints at same time. Different resins mostly siraya fast and eegloo red clear. Exposure 65/8. Layer height .05 bottom layers 3. No supports. Have releveled to be sure that is not the issue.
The problem I’ve experienced x3 is that if I place more than 1 of the same object on the build plate to be printed only 1 or 2 out of 4 print, there is some buildup on the fep where the other objects should have printed of 3-4 layers approx. There is adequate space between the objects but not too much and none of them are close to any of the borders.
Am I not spacing properly? More exp time because of the mult objects? Suggestions, thiughts?

This is definitely my favorite resin so far. I'm trying the red now, but black is like, idk, a dream. I found one other person in here that has used this brand, but was wondering how many other people have used it, and what their favorite color was.

New to the photon. Anyone know why this happened? Print came out fine, damage happened during curing and a day or two later. Just started splitting/cracking. Hollowed out with chitubox and printed with elegoo water washable resin.

Hi all, slight issue- over-tightened the grub nut holding the build plate level. Will get a new Alan key tomorrow as this one is circular and no longer hexagonal so I'm hoping a new good one will have enough grip to open it up. If not, has anyone succeeded in drilling it out like on a regular nut and bolt that's sized?
Also n.b. Didn't tighten that much on purpose, I had to leap to stop my cat diving into the resin vat whilst tightening! Animals gonna kill me

Hi, I've been printing out nice prints on my Photon printer for a couple of months now but I've recently started printing things that connect together. Like parts fitting inside other parts. I noticed when I print these even though they look nice the parts do not fit together without some extensive modifications to them. Others printing the same thing are not experiencing these issues so I wanted to post here and see if it is possible I am overexposing or underexposing my prints thus causing them not to fit well together. I'm using Elegoo gray resin with 15 second layers. Thanks!

Seriously cannot thank this group enough for your tips! You've been super helpful! I have another question -- what can be done to reduce the brittle nature of resin prints (I'm printing elegoo grey). I'd love for my minis to have a similar durability to plastic models but is that even possible?
