I am trying to update my firmware to 4.2.19, however the file i received from anycubic's website only includes 2 files and guide videos show that they have 4. Am i doing something wrong here? I dont want to brick my printer

Hello Group I have two Photon S one of them will except PWS files the other one will only except photon files. Anybody know why this is the firmware version on both machines is different also. How would I go about updating the firmware so they’re both running same firmware?

I am having no luck at all with my Photon. I have had this machine for a year, no issues. Suddenly in the middle of a print I had an error. Fan would no longer turn on. I had read that I needed to flash the firmware. So I DL the latest version 4.2.19 and start up the machine with the files copied to the root. I get a series of beeps, and then print the 1-fpga29_P29_104.bin file. System info now shows V4.2.9.3_LCD/1440x2560 /F2.9, I slice ANY file and go to print and I get this garbage printing out. Nothing like what I selected (and the only file on the USB drive). Steps I have taken: Run the factory reset gcode. Reflashed to 4.2.19. Re-sliced a simple file. Same result. Cleaned glass under the vat, replaced the FEP (which was perfectly clear), zeroed the plate. Run the test with known good settings...I am at a total loss here.

Anyone want to take a stab at this one. Updated to the latest firmware. Zeroed the bed. Made sure the printer is still level. And i got this.

My photon is finally alive after a change of board and some help from you guys (turns out I like to put things in the wrong way ?‍♂️ ) firmware updated to .18. I’ve got that nice orange screen now which I prefer ??

Anyone else ran into this problem? Two Photons, same firmware on each, same bottle of resin, same file and still getting partially failed prints on one.

I have this Anycubic Photon about 2 weeks ago and success to printing the new model sample. I want to update the firmware but this printer not known the file firmware V5.0.2, I've tried 2 time to update but it still not known the file. it makes me in confusing. Anyone help me please?

Been printing pretty successfully for a couple months on my OG Photon when suddenly last week it seemed like I needed to significantly increase my exposure times to get anything to stick to the plate or build at all. Like from 80 second base layers and 10-12 second layers at 20-50um, increased to 120 second base layers and 16-20 second layers at 20-50um.

I've tried replacing the FEP, but it had no effect. I'm running the latest firmware. Could this be related to the bugs I keep hearing about on the latest firmware?

Has this happened to anyone else?

Can anyone tell me if this is the layer shearing that is mentioned on the photonsters page? Should I be trying to roll back my firmware? Had about 10 amazing prints and then this on my last two prints. Seems like the last several layers are misplaced.
