I’m beginner with Photon S and just trying to get through my first print other than the test cube, with no success.
The reason: when the platform raises up, there’s a clacking sound, which is probably the FEP film, as the matter sticks on it. After the first 15-20 layers the print platform gives it up and releases the printing object.

I tried many things: level again, clean the fep film, tighten the screws of the film.
The settings applied are the ones from the google docs file (Anycubic green transculent, bottom exp 60, bottom layers nr 6, normal exp 8, off time 3).

How could I fix this?

Question: I'm running a Photon S and was wondering whether there is a rule of thumb on adjusting (e.g. reduce the exposure time by 20% etc) the Photon recommended resin settings for prints done on the Photon S (resin list here: https://docs.google.com/…/1crvzMnt_8NJXAsABinoIhcOjE8…/edit… )

https://drive.google.com/open… This last firmware for anycubic photon s boards now photons files it's allowed I think. In theory now chitubox works.

Did somebody test it?

i need some help, i've bought my second resin (Elegoo res transparent) and tryed my first print, the bed is correctly leveled (i've did it just before the print) but it didn't snap to the bed, it was snap to the FEP, i think it's the settings, so here a pic of what i did, i obviously missed something (yes i checked the google doc, line 78)

Hi. Thanks for accepting me.

I'm new to resin 3D printing (but I have 2 Prusas ^^) and I got my Anycubic Photon from a friend who hasn't the time for it (in exchange for printing minis for him ^^)

He only gave me Druckwege Type D black and red resin, so I'm using the Google Table for the exposure times.

As I had watched some videos, Anycubic packs a sample print on the USB drive and some green Resin with the printer.

I'm wondering right now, why the print on the USB drive is rated for 3 hours, but when I use the times from the Google table my slicer (Chitubox 1.5.0) says it will take 6 hours (for the Druckwege resin the test print will take 10 hours).

Wonders me that the time is to long.

Yet another, "why didn't this print good" post .. I've been printing just fine for a few weeks now until I accidentally dropped the build plate on the resin tray and had to replace the FEP. I've tried to print a couple times with a new fep (using different resin using the recommended settings from the Google doc) and the prints turn out deformed, incomplete, and just a mess. My theories are 1) just need to relevel and set Z0; 2) fep was installed incorrectly - too tight perhaps; or 3) could it be temperature related? I print in my attached garage and it was around 45°. Any thoughts, suggestions or similar experiences? Much appreciated..
UPDATE : And we're up and running. I leveled it twice and I'm keeping an eye on the temperature. Thanks for all your suggestions. This group is amazing! 翻譯年糕

Hi,

I'm an long time DLP printer recently having bought a Photon S.
The first print I did went great, but the second print gave me issues with base stuck to FEP. I swapped out the FEP and tensioned it correctly following the guide, but the last 6 prints keep failing. either they stick to the FEP or only part of it prints, if I print the testcube again it fails as well with the base stuck to the FEP.

But still hasn't helped.
I've also tried using chitubox instead of photon workshop, but no improvement.
I'm using Wanhao Black resin with settings from the google drive (upping the bottom exposure a bit), but had the same issues with the included anycubic green.
Any ideas what else I can try?
