After a successful test run, I decided to do a quick Lithophane test (40 mins) with very nice results, followed by a 20h print for a Chinese name stamp- the print came out... alright, but one of the faces on the cube seems to have slumped (it's fine, I'll have to sand down the swappable insert, but I still want to understand where the error is)- is this because of the surface tension at that angle or something else?

-I manually hollowed out the inside and added a drainage hole towards the base of the cube for the resin to flow freely out of- not sure if my choice.

Dear Photoner Masters,

My front lcd off, fans off, the only indicator that i see is red light under the z axis.

It was happened after i try to downgrade my 4.2.19 firmware to 4.2.3, i got it from github, because my other photon works with 4.2.3.

Is there any thing i can do to put my photon to last working state? or

Is there any way to hard reset the firmware to factory settings?

Or just pull the mainboard out and re-programing it?

Since my front lcd off, i cant do anyting.

I’ve noticed sometimes it sounds like my printer is getting the model stuck to the fep, and when it pulls out between layers you can hear it come off the fep. Is this something I should be concerned about?

It doesn’t do it all the time just sometimes

Curious, as we know the Original Photon has network port. Anyone tried to get WiFi working? e.g. plugging in Chitu WiFi module ? I have another printer brand using same type of board. Firmware has network and wifi support.

Hi ladies and gentlemen. Joined a day or three ago when a client sent me a Photon as a surprise :) Finally found the time to set it up and ready a print. I have set the auto supports to 'Thin' but otherwise used default settings across the board - just wanted to get thoughts on how this looks, too dense? obvious issues? I am not too worried about rear details at this point, I just want to find a baseline to work from. Thanks in advance.

Long time stalker, first time posting. My photon S is doing gooooddd, great leveling and working good.

I'm now trying to print my own Tinkercad, but I can't get it tidy and need some suggestions. :( Am I just pushing too small? (the smallest gap is 0.8mm).

My problem is the smaller gaps are just filling in and the embossed lettering isn't showing at all.

Standard 405nm photosensitive resin white. Pursa with 'auto orient' and 'auto generated points' then sliced in Photon Workshop.
