Corrupted file most likely. I get this or similar sometimes when I use a shitty usb, or I forget to safely remove device.

Try reslice or orient the parts differently.. repair them.. anything.. in my cases it was visible in "preview" also

I have noticed this a few times in chitubox, it isn't necessarily the usb. Sometimes if you have too many objects or printing near the border it gets confused and sliced goofy like that. I solved it by just reslicing it while shifting the models on the plate. This has been with repaired and working files before.

Not sure why it does this, but it is a peculiar thing that does happen.

Dang the way that looks like it fits together is sharp.

Just make a mold and cast it in resin if you want to produce more and are worried about durability.

anycubic grey is my favorite. I do add a little sirya tenacious to it so its not so brittle.

I have now anycubic black and done the first testprints. They come out quit nice.

If you find a resin you like, that works for you, why fix what isn't broken? I've tried a number, not the Anycubic grey though, and I settled on Siraya Fast ABS-like grey, because it works for me in terms of quality, cost and availability. The only reason I'd change is if one of those factors changed.

Put one thick support right on that bottom corner then smaller ones up the edges

From what I’ve heard, you really don’t want to make gears without resin.

Keith O'Donnell Yeah there’s people saying that and I don’t know why. I’ve had great success with both gears and threads

I think the main reason is probably because resin is brittle, hence bad for gear application. But I think it's good enough for prototype purpose, and add some flex resin would help with durability I think.

resin might ruin the paint job, best is to use the same paints you used on the eyes. If you have an airbrush, use that.

Seb Keihilin hair spray give wet effect if you spray 2-3layers :)

Neither. The first layer wont stick the plate

Not sticking to the platform:usually has 1 of 2 (or both) issues:
(however there is a third)

1) Z=0 not set tight enough
(from "home" go down until it is really tight! and then go up 0.3mm)

2) Base layer exposure not high enough
(try up base layer exposure with 10 seconds)

3) your build platform is greasy due to your skin touching contact surface.
(clean build plate contact surface (with alcohol) and let it dry, make sure no residue is left)

Matterhackers they're kinda spendy but possibly able to get it to you quicker.

I cornered Amazon yesterday. Employee wasnt supposed to say, but they are giving products sold directly by themselves priority, then critical, then sticking a month off date for anything else third party.

He kind of clammed up. I needed parts for a c lient repair that is exclusively working a COVID call center. I pushed to see if they would give exception. He basically summarized that if a warehouse shift finishes all above noted categories, they would start filling backorders of other items, but as that it was a subscribe and save week, nothing else likely will move until next weekend.

Look for this shipped by and sold by Amazon. Unfortunately I couldn't find anything in 3d printer under this term. This will come to bite them, both from buyers and sellers. They just removed a months income from their sellers. Threw them under the bus for their own profit.

So I ordered yesterday for some elegoo water washable grey resin from Amazon and it said on the order delivery expected April 23rd. But it arrived on my doorstep this morning. So I guess if you are near a hub that has it in stock and are prime members you will get it sooner?

After being able to get resin for under $20 for 500ml it irritates me now that I am seeing it for double that. Luckily for me I sort of stocked up a couple of weeks ago and I have about 4500ml in the closet
